Attack of the Stupid Old People.....
I am working in my department and the CSM's call me to the Grocery podium. I go and they hand me a till and tell me to run the register. I run it for nearly two hours until they find out I was supposed to got lunch when they called me originally.
While I am checking people out, a lady comes from the service desk line and asks the following:
Women: "I got charged twice for this coffee thats $4.97. Is there anything I can do besides waiting in this line to get my money back?"
Roger: "The only thing you could do is get another coffee or wait in line."
Women: " Well, next time Ill just go to Kroger."
I just walk away and think to myself..just go to Kroger then.
Later...a man comes through the line and has nothing for me to ring up. He mumbles someting and then tells me to charge him for the jacket he is wearing! I ask him if he has any of the papers for it and he says what papers? I told him I need the papers in order to ring him up. He replies: " I they aint in the pockets...I dont have 'em." Of coarse...there not there and I have to call for a price check.
