I never had a friend like you
Who warms my Heart,
Makes me smile,
Lifts me up,
When I feel Blue.
Many times we have shared,
Laughter on the porch,
Coffee at your table,
Sitting talking,
When no one else cared.
I sit and wonder what my life would be,
Not knowing you,
Without your encouragement,
Without you here,
You have helped me unlock who I am and set me free.
I want you to know how special you are to me,
No matter near or how far we are,
Whether good or bad,
I will always love you to the end.
