I have called upon You for what seems so long,
The patience has left it's the same old song.
I search for You to the left and stumble to find You to the right,
I cry for You in the morning and scream for You in the night.
Looked all the way to the east and sought all the way to the west,
I give You my whole life and still You put me to the test.
Yet to my deaf ears You have fallen,
So here I sit quiet�I am done callin'.
As my eyes looked up, what did I see?
Words written on the wall,
Jesus Loves ME!
As I read this tears streamed down from my eyes,
He was telling me He has always heard my cries.
I said to Him, " You have always been here, you are the one wiping and drying my tears."
Once I stopped running and sat still
You opened my eyes, comforted my soul and my heart You did fill.
Thank you Lord for all you do for me,
You brighten my spirits and all my burdens flee.
