Listening to: Green Day - Hitchin' a ride
So I turned in my application to study abroad in Japan for a whole year today. There's nothing more I can do for that other than continue to try to improve on my grades, but for now at least the paper work is done. Spring break starts today. I'm done with school for two weeks and I just feel like this huge burden has been lifted from my shoulders. It really feels great. I can take this time off to just relax and lounge around playing the video games I need to catch up on. Finally some simple 'do nothing' time. I've desperately needed this for a long time. Mandy will be gone to Hawaii for a week too. So I'm going to miss her a lot, and it sucks that she'll be gone, but she's gonna have so much fun. I hope she doesn't let the whole 'family vacation' itinerary get to her. She seemed a little less than excited about the whole getting up and doing stuff rather than lounging around on the beach. I still think she's gonna have a blast. My dad said something about maybe going camping for two or three days if I get the time off work for it. I think I might be able to arrange that. I just hope the weather improves to where that would actually be fun and not misserable. T-Roy said he was going to stay in town over break too, so I'm gonna have plenty to keep me busy around here. I'm excited for this break. I'm going to get Tetris DS and Burnout Revenge in about a week or two also, so I'm excited for that as well. I love getting new games when I know it's a sure thing that they'll be worth every penny to me that I've spent on them. Only thing better is when you get one as a gift. *cough* (Shadow of Collosus) *cough* :) Well I'm off to play Super Princess Peach some more, which is an AWESOME game. I'm really enjoying it.
