Neighborhood Watch Project
The Rosewood Neighborhood Planning team has used some of the grant funds at our disposal to replace worn neighborhood watch signs and install new signs. We would also like to get a system of block captains in place to work with the APD on community/police co-operation which will make our streets safer and public spaces more pleasant.
Sites for new signs were selected by neighborhood associations. When possible, existing poles were used and only the signs replaced. Where that was not possible, new posts and signs were installed. This project was completed in Winter 2005. Look for these signs around the neighborhood!
