Art News -  Oh yah!  The picture I DID download is (or WAS) our 4' x 6' farm sign that I painted years ago.  It's the first landscape that I had painted.  I never really liked landscapes at all and just focused on mostly animals on solid color backgrounds.  But, then I started to watch this guy on PBS, Bob Ross, I think.  He was SOOOOooooooo peaceful.  What an incredibly calm, sweet guy!!  Was he the most MELLOW guy in the world or what?!  He was always talking about "Happy trees" and how they needed to be put here or there in his painting.  He actually made me WANT to give it a try after years of watching him.  I heard he passed on, but Bob, I KNOW you are still among the living in Heaven, probably near many happy trees and that picture is of the painting that YOU inspired after years of your calming influence and brilliant teaching of painting techniques.  Plus, I can't thank you enough for the peace you brought into my life a half an hour at a time.

I say, WAS, because, sadly the actual farm sign has been ruined by years of Colorado weather and bullet holes courtesy of my self professed "Crazy" neighbor.  Luckily, I took that picture of my first landscape.  The actual painting had iridescent white on the llamas.  So, there were different shadings and rainbow hues as you moved in front of the painting.  The photo didn't really capture that too well.  I will have to make another one . . . someday and protect it much better.  We've changed the ranch name anyway, so I'll have to incorporate that.

Okay.  I'm done now.  See ya later. :)
