Art News - Here's a very sweet, graceful, feminine Boston Terrier portrait needlefelt sculpture that I just finished and am sending out today.  She loves her little "loofah" toy, so I dyed the wool and needlefelted that, too!  I love saying that I dyed yesterday!  Almost every day when I drive my teenage son home from school on these country roads, there is a herd of miniature donkeys that stand in the middle of the road.  As I come to a stop, I say, "What an ass."  That never gets old!!  So, between that and dyeing, the hilarity never ends!

I've been busy trying to learn all I can about Etsy Street Teams.  I'm part of a needlefelter group working on starting a street team.  We have a bunch of new members and some are from the UK!  So we are international now!  Then, I added a couple of flickr groups where we can showcase needlefelt.  One of the addresses is http://www.flickr.com/groups/etsyneedlefelt It is brand new, so I think I'm the only one with photos in it so far, but there are more members joining every day.

I plan on finishing the feet on that water dog and posting his picture here really soon!  Maybe today.  I'm also thinking about making a bunch of pendants out of polymer clay to put up in the shop.   I'll post those pics here too.  So, as soon as I sign off, I have a bunch of projects to work on.

Ranch News - I know we've been very busy!  I just can't seem to think of anything we've done other than the hubbie fixed a screen so we can have the windows open in the evening without risking mothra coming in.  We have GIANT moths out here!  They are like teradactyls for crying out loud.  I don't remember seeing this many huge moths ever before.  They are like as big as my hand.  They are probably totally innocent, but they freak me out anyway.

Oh!  And we've had a herd of elk and deer hanging out in our alfalfa field every night.  This morning I think I woke them up when I went to give oats to the horses and grain to the llamas who are all close to the field in the mornings.

Our currant bush gave up some berries, too, for the first time.  That is one happy bush.  I only planted it last year as a tiny little stick, but it's up to my shoulders now.  All that Colorado snow really paid off.  I put mint in a walkway, too.  My green thumb wonderful neighbor told me, "That mint will grow everywhere.  Are you sure you want it right there?"  I, confidantly said that ANYTHING that will grow a bunch works out for me!  Well, she was totally right.  That mint is crazy!  It's everywhere!  I like to pick it and put it in teas.  I picked a bunch to dry too.  After that, I really don't know what to do with all that mint.  Any ideas?  Let me know.
