Art News - Well, the peacock and lion magnets made it through the paint/acrylic process unscathed.  I will be posting them in the etsy shop, RoseThistleArtworks.ETSY.com on Friday.  Perhaps, possibly, if I can fix up the little mermaid sculpture before then, I will be posting her too.  I already thought it would be very hard to part with her, but now after the extra care and work required, I'm positive it will be hard to let her go.  But, I am fickle, and almost everything has its price!

Ranch News - I saw my first wheat berry today.  How totally fascinating!  All the wheat fields are starting to be harvested today and tomorrow.  I was talking with a harvester who reached down and plucked a wheat head and showed me where the berries come from.  I even got to bring some home.  Heck, I may plant them and become a tiny wheat farmer myself!  I imagine me picking the berries from my three plants and making very teeny tiny loaves of bread with the flour I ground.  How awesome! 

We're off to Deer Trail Home Of The World's First Rodeo to go watch the fireworks and celebrate our GREAT country and all the souls who have defended her and all the downtrodden that were being murdered and bullied into slavery of one sort or another.  God blesses America!!
