Art News - Here is my nightmare.  I sculpted, I baked, I waited, I mixed  colors, I delicately painted details such as glistening tears on her cheek, I coated with acrylic many many times.  Then, I accidentally dabbed black paint on that cheek that had glistening tears.  Then, I ran it under water and frantically dabbed with paper towels to get the black off.  The water moistened the still not dry acrylic which peeled off and took the paint with it.  I was almost done, but I just HAD to dab some black paint on the little hooves that got stuck to newspaper when I was acrylic coating them.  I couldn't move the mermaid!  No.  I thought I could just dab the little hooves and move on from there.  So, now here is the bored or sad mermaid with a big white gash on her face.  This is when an artist just walks away and focuses on other things until some fresh new day when fixing this will seem like no problem at all.
