Donna Bartram, a servant and handmaiden of the Lord, was called at the early age of 12, to teach a Baptist Sunday School class of young boys, in Blair, OK.  Her entire life has been targeted on revealing knowledge to God's people of all ages. In 1950, at a young age, Donna married Dean Bartram, and started a home in Compton, California.  They received the gifts of God, when two lovely daughters came into their family.  During these years Donna returned to college and earned a B.A. in education from Long Beach State University and an M.S. in the Science of Reading from Fullerton State University.  Donna went on to graduate studies at UCLA, USC and the California Theological Seminary to continue her education. Recently in 2004, she received her doctorate in divinity from International Embassy, Redlands,CA. After spending twenty-two years in the public classroom, she and her husband, who is now with Jesus, were led by their Guide and Teacher, the Holy Spirit, to start a prayer ministry.  Then another ministry started to develop in 1978 and TRIA was organized to produce more valuable television programs for children and families. The seed of intercession for family needs grew greater and added to a clearer understanding of intercessory prayer.  Recognizing the need for powerful prayer,  weekly home Bible studies were started and are still impacting believers understanding of corporate and personal prayer.  Donna has had much experience in the development and growth of intercessors, world-wide. Upon retiring from the professional world, the Bartrams found out that retirement is not a word in a Spirit-filled lifestyle.  A new step of faith in God was made.  A life of total commitment with the heart decision to follow wherever the Lord would call.  The Bartrams traveled the world on study trips.  These experiences gave them the opportunity to study, teach, minister, and establish new ministries in other countries, and to research comparative education styles.
From the time spent in prayer, new doors began to open into more ministries.  Ordained and licensed by the Independent Assemblies of God International, Dean and Donna founded the Roses of Sharon Fellowship International, a church of believers with the desire to flow freely in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  This ministry encourages and strengthens the congregation to move in their gifts and provides opportunities, under authority to do so. The fellowship has been foundational in establishing over eighty ministers who are ordained and then licensed through the Independent Assemblies of God.  Pastors, teachers, missionaries, prophets and apostles are walking in their ministries because of the influence and teachings of Donna Bartram. The Roses of Sharon intercessors are conscientiously concerned that: "Thy Kingdom come- Thy will be done".  These prayers are the power behind those ministering in Uganda, Croatia, Australia, Saipan, Columbia, Fiji, Trinidad, Nigeria, Kenya, China, Taiwan, Hawaii, Tahiti,Japan, Bosnia, Australia, France  and across America. Donna was given commission by the Lord "Teach my people to pray, I'll make the way!"  Donna is still very active with prayer summits, conferences, and teaching leaders about the power of prayer in various arenas.  From this came the work with the local community in organizing prayer events for the National Day of Prayer, March for Jesus, Youth Explosions, Aglows, and intercessor for Promise Keepers.  The latest challenge is to organize educators to help "Kids in Krisis" through tutoring and mentoring. Donna Bartram is not retired!  She is actively pastoring the Roses of Sharon congregation, and has gained respect as a teacher, lecturer, scholar, prayer warrior and well known mentor in the Christian Community.  Educating from the pulpit, community council meetings, or in the arena of local politics. Presently Donna is on leave from her mentoring position with Azusa Pacific University where she has been working with graduating teachers. No matter where it may be, only the truth will be heard from what is said.  She is a woman of excellence, mightily anointed by God, called for "Such an time as this, to teach God's people to pray!"  On July 7, 1997 Pastor Dean went home  to be with the Lord.  Donna has continued on with the ministry and  with the Roses of Sharon Fellowship.  It has been six years since two of Donnas grandsons have committed their lives to Jesus. Donna's  2 daughters and 5 grandsons are committed to live for Jesus, now she has 3 great granddaughters who are bringing her great joy.  It has been so wonderful to see them excited and committed to the things of God. They have found themselves in the midst of young children and young adults, preaching and sharing the word of God and what God has done in their lives.
These past few years Donna has found herself traveling to Washington,DC, Florida, and to many other cities gathering together with other intercessors praying for our nation, state, city, community and the lives of many lost souls.  In April 2002 she ministered at CLN Church in Paris, France, the largest church in Paris, also  at many Womens Aglow meetings in Southern California, the Strategic Prayer Center in Pasadena (and is a board member there).  She has been a speaker and minister at the prayer summits for 4 years, also  with the National Day of Prayer in Pomona,CA. for 8 years, she is the organizer and leader for the Prayer for America in Upland, CA. 2002 and for 15 years  has been organizing and leading the Roses of Sharon Home cell groups.
The Ministry, Presbytery and the intercessors have continued to support and pray for Pastor Donna, as the Lord launches her into a greater measure of anointing, teaching, preaching and vision of the ministry. Born; Jan. 25, 1932, on a cotton farm in Blair, Oklahoma Parents; Rex and Ora Watson.
