If I won the lotto....What would I do???
Would I buy some new clothes or would I buy some shoes???
If I won the lotto....Where would I go???
Somewhere nice and sunny, or somewhere there is snow???
If I won the lotto...Would I buy a car???
So that we could travel, and go very far???
I asked my husband...what would he buy
If we won the lotto...this was his reply.
We'd build a big new fox pen...the best there is around.
We'd fill it with fox and coyotes, all that can be found.
We'd build a big new bunk house, and a nice new kitchen too.
We'd build some reeal nice kennels, and not just a few.
We'd buy some new foxhounds, the fastest ones in town.
Then we'd sit back and listen to the beautiful sounds.
The running of the hounds...the music that they make.
As we sit and watch them run around our brand new lake.
As he told me all of this, and I looked into his face
I knew that nothing made him happier than the running of a race.
So I nodded and I told him, yes dear that sounds so good to me.
As I hugged my dear ole foxhunter, forever that he'll be.
