Mark and I were wed on New Year's Eve, 2003. We had a small, but formal wedding with family and close friends. The wedding and the reception were held at The Waterford at Fair Oaks. Lovely place, really. I highly recommend it. in fact, my mother in law was married there as well, in July of 2004.
Because I am studying to be a bridal consultant, I was my own wedding planner and coordinator, getting ready on the big day was almost impossible. As a planner, I know that things are being done until the last minute, and as a bride, I knew my last minute was up way before it should have been. I could not very well get the finishing touches on the tables while getting ready, could I? We almost did not make it in time! Courtney, my Maid of Honor, had to crawl under my dress to fix the petticoat underneath. What a face she made when she realized what I was asking of her!!!
From left to right are Renae, my Bridesmaid, Courtney, my Maid of Honor, me, the soon to be Mrs. Jessi Rose Fry and half of the wonderful Rev. Lance Ornforff. (He had such a wonderful sense of humor!)
From left to right are Mark, my intended, Chris (also known as Darkness in our social circles), the best man and our roommate Matt, the Groomsman.
I will be honest with you--- I have no idea what part of the ceremony this is. We tons of shots just like this one. I could not tell you what is going on in them. But it looks nice!
Sometimes Dad's just aren't ready to let their little girls go. The joke in the family is that he was trying to strangle me. *grins*
Aah, the big kiss. It was so intense that I accidentally knocked his top hat off...
