Massive Picture Update!
I have been adding pics to photoshop again like crazy!! I know I've been terrible at both updating here & keeping things up to date as well, but I wanted to let you know I have not totally forgotten to. *hugs* Things are coming... I've just not been inspired to do them. *sheepish* Sorry about that.

Anyway, enjoy the new pics! I would not suggest linking to them yet because I plan on organizing them at some point & when I do your links will be broken! O_o Please feel free to copy & print them if you like! *hugs*

*sheepish*
I'm sorry... I've been terrible about not really wanting to updat this site. I'm haphazardly looking for a better place for the webpage... but it's on & off again.

On the other hand, things are going okay I suppose. I still procrastinate, Theron still grows, & life keeps us busy. All & all, I guess it's pretty good. Just don't talk to me about technology other than computers, 'cause they're bothering me. Not going to go into it now, butone issue of this is my camera being non-functioning. Found out that it's because the shudder's stuck... so until this procrastinator does something about it... yeah.

*hugs all & flees*

Massive Picture Update!
I am finlly caught up with fising & uploading all pictures on my digital camera up til August 6th or so. *grins* I'm hoping to finish the rest up until today sometime tomorrow if I have enough time & Theron sleeps well. Perhaps I'll get a chance to save them to CD too. That would be nice.

Is it working now?
I'm pretty much just trying to get this workinging enough again. Hoping that getting rid of the java does it. If it works in this section I'll do the same to the other sections. Since 'navagation' nd subnvigation' seem to be working fine so I'm leaving them be for the time being. At least until I am certain of a better way.

EEP!!!
Okay, coming back from my mom's house yesterday I was rear ended in a pretty big car wreck. Traffic was stopped, I'm watching the back of the semi in front of me. It has a red truck bed. Kinda worn, you know the type of look. I check my rear-view mirror to see if Theron is still asleep. I have one of those kid-mirrors over his seat so you can see the child in their rear-facing childseat. He's still sleeping & I think I see somethign coming really fast towards us in the mirror. There's at least one car stopped behind us too. No real time to think about it cuz CRASH & the fast moving vehicle hits the first car it came in contact with. Probably no less than miliseconds later I yelp-scream as we're hit from behind. I think we moved forward a little, but it's hard to say. Not surprisingly, Theron woke up. At some point in all of this, the traffic ahead of us started to move & the truck I was behind leaves. I'm thinking how I'm really glad that even after all these years I still listen to my driver's education instructor in leaving enough space between my car & the one in front of me so that I can see the road between their tires & the front of my car. I think now that if I was any closer I might have gone into the truck bed.
Anyway, I put the car in park, turned off my ac & radio before I turned off the car & called 911. A silver sports car was almost beside me, facing back the way we had been at an almost 45 degree angle in the left hand lane. The driver did not look good. Ahead of us about two to three car lengths in the right hand lane, was the car I thought started the whole fiasco. The driver was getting out as I talked to the 911 guy. I got out of the car to check on Theron. He was shocked, tears in his eyes, but not really crying. I call my mom, so she doesn't worry that I won't be calling her at the right time for getting back to our house. I figure I'd rather have her worry about us knowing where we are than have her worry about us not knowing anything. At some point I hear the guy from the car in the right lane say something about how he didn't notice that cars were stopped. Lots of people checked on us, but we were really okay. Just very shaken. I was glad we were fine and at the same time upset about my car. I'd just bought the car, a 2005 Toyota Highlander, in February. Thinking this, I take my camera out & snap a few pics. Firemen & highway patrol are showing up. After getting the pictures I just wait around, answering their questions. I tell them we're fine, just spooked. I go into some sort of "business" mode when terrible things happen in my life I guess. Detatched. Jello-y but pumping muscles. Focused mind. Everything else kind of fades away. Probably some sort of adrenaline rush, but it reminded me of how I acted when Timex fell & I had to call the ambulance the day he died. Before that day I always thought I'd be a freaker. Someone who freaks out. I guess I'm not.
I wait in the car. I worried about the guy in the turned car & hoping he's all right. Part of me is also hoping he's not just faking to try & get something out of this. They have to pry his door open. There's enough real stuff that happened bad to his car that I doubt he would have to fake anything. Neck brace & stretcher.
I never bother to really look behind me, to see how many cars were involved. I'm more concerned with Theron. I take a few pictures of my little trooper. He just wants to see out of the window at what's going on outside. Curious at as to what the time is I check my phone (car's off so the car clock is too) & it's after 5pm. I check what time I called 911, & that was at 4:57pm. All est if you're curious. I guess the accident happened about quarter til 5, unless it took less than 2 minutes for me to shut down my car & stuff. Between talking to different troopers & firemen I call my Insurance Company (about 5:10 or so) just to let them know I'll call them back with the other information later when I have it. Troopers check out my car, looking at the road. I never asked, but I figure they were determining how much my car was pushed. *sighs* Maybe seeing if I was really at a stop when it happened. I'm not sure, but it would make sense.
I was finally given a form to fill out for my official statement. I nearly wrote a book as always. I was alowed to move my car from the center lane to the right shoulder before I wrote. It was a relief to be off the highway finally. But the 911 guy had said not to move any of the cars when I asked on the phone, & I had relayed the message as well as followed it myself. I had to answer a few more clarifying questions once I gave the trooper my statement. Seems even with all the writing I forgot to pointedly state that I was stopped at the time of impact. Then he held up the passing traffic to let me out & we were finally permitted to go home. We got here at 6:15pm or so. When I went to unload my car (I had been at my mother's afterall) I found that I could not open the rear hatch. *sighs* I had hoped the damage was only cosmetic on the bumper & the back, but with the hatch not lifting it could be much worse to fix.
It just seems that except for Theron's birth, April is just not a good month for us. Maybe it's just a trying month for us.

I guess this is the long way of saying we're going to be busy. I have to see if my car can be fixed before Monday or if I'll need a rental or something for Mom & I to drive to St. Louis. I'd rather just play on Gaia, but with this & taxes to do still, I don't see how I can. If nothing else, I'll be back next week.
God willing.

New Orleans Rocks!
Just got back from New Orleans.... it really is amaizing. Sure, people always told me that, but it's completely different to experience it firsthand. Of course, being a mom with a small infant child I didn't do a whole lot of the "nightlife" aspect of the French Quarter... & from what little I did experience that was fine by me. :xp: I kinda wore out of the whole too much drinking thing bck in college. Watching someone drink till they puke is not my idea of a good time. We caught lots of tours though, hung out at an Irish pub for some really great NewOrleans-Irish music, hung out in Jackson Square & off course ate tons of nummie freash seafood N'awlens style. *licks lips* They say you always miss New Orleans... right now for me its just the food. :XD

Theron DeVon cut two teeth while we were away. He was so good about it too. He was a perfect darling the whole trip for that matter.

I feel bad though... my "baby" bro turned 21 while we were away... & I couldn't find him anything Ithought he might like down there. *sighs* That's okay I guess cuz he'd probably rather have straight money anyway but thats so !!

Anyway, we're off to spend Easter Weekend with Tracy's family. I'll be getting p9ics up sometime next week or so. Hope everyone remembers why we celebrate Easter as Christians & has a wonderful Easter. God bless!

Pre-Vacation Picture Update!
W're going on a big trip soon & I needed my camera memory cards empty, so the good new is that I am all caught up with pic uploads as of today! *cheers* That means you have lots of new pics to go through while I take more on our vacation! More on that when we get back!

Picture Update!
Today's Theron's Grandma Vivkie's birthday so we had his 10 month pictures done today so she could have the experience. Because they let us have them printed at the studio (last chance for us to do so, next month they'll be sending orders to the shop again) I already have them scanned & uploaded for all to see. They're not categorised yet but oh well.
I also remembered to scan in the only pic I really have from our honeymoon. It's been on the fridge & I somehow didn't think to scan it. It's uploaded too, so enjoy.

Sorry, but the rest of the pics in my camera will have to wait. Maybe tomorrow or next week. Til then, I hope this is enough.

21 February 2005
Theron is 10 Months old today!! @_@
Gee, how time flies. He still hasn't cut any teeth yet, but he's "nubbing" now -as my mom calls it- & you can see the whit if enamel through his gums. I didn't cut teeth until I was 11 months, so maybe he's trying to hold out longer. ^_^

Bought our new car this weekend: a brand spanking new Toyota Highlander. I'm loving it; for more than the peace of mind it gives too.

I know I've been promising new pics, & I've got mopnths of them to upload... but you'll have to wait a while longer yet. I have under a month to get them off my camera memory cards. I'll tell you later why. ^_^

Oh! & check out this neat pic of the Air Force perfoming the new USA Formation in Texas. Better a link than a forward, I always say.

26 January 2005
@_@
Woke up this morning & the pipe to my new toilet had come undone. @_@ SO let's jusr say everything that I was intending to do today kinda fell by the wayside. Now I'm just Confused. *sighs* At least the plumbers who installed it were able to come & fix it free of charge since it never should have come undone. *sighs* That's something anyway.

18 January 2005
Stuff
New link. More pictures soon. Sorry I haven't been contacting people... *sighs* I guess if you wanna contact me you will. New year sucks. Hope yours are better. Perhaps I'm just waiting for Every Eye to open. It's the only hope I've got. *hugs* Thanks to Sarah Elizzabeth for the link.

8 January 2005
Happy New Year
Well it's another year, & another holiday season where I haven't yet done Christmas cards yet. *sighs* I suppose that's understandable; I still have funeral gift thank you's that are unfinished. *heavy sigh* I suppose it's just that I don't know what to write. It's going to be a generic form letter, but how do I say all that's been happening this past year? :( It's just not easy.

Anyway, I've decided to post a links to really neat sites here that Tracy's mom e-mailed to me. It's supposed to be one of those "pass it along" e-mails, but I really hate doing that. For those of you who say "but the only e-mails I get from you are forwards" all I've got to say is: you haven't seen even a whole percent of the forwards I get. ^_^ So if you're up to it, checkout this Insperational Site and Father's Love Letter.

By the way, there's more pics at my Photobucket Album; mostly of Theron. I've got more I'm still touching up & need to upload which I hope will be up soon.

20 December 2004
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone! Well, at least those few of you who haven't given up on visiting this webpage. *sighs* I know it's been a while since I updated anything here. Sorry. I don't have an excuse really... I just haven't been in the mood. -_- Go figure.

Actually, I propbably don't really have time for this even now. *sheepish grin* I still have the majority of Christmas presents to buy yet. It's funny, I'm so used to having all but one or two presents bought before Thanksgiving that I don't really know what to do with this last minute rush feeling. So I'm doing something I do understand: updating this page.

As you might be able to guess, I finally bought a new keyboard. *cheers* Nothing fancy; just a $10 replacement from Staples, that's all. It get's the job done & I really don't need anything more. So this is being typed the "normal" way --although I'm still getting used to the new key placement and sensitivity.

The main reason I'm updating though -besides wanting to wish everyone a Merry Christmas before Christmas Day- is that I have a new picture of Tracy in my Photobucket Album. We can all thank Alexandra Lirtzman for this great pic of Tracy in his Musketeer tabard circa 1997. It's right after he bought it & he ws showing it off to Alexandra & Matt Easton. As she says on the back " Somehow the Princess Bride poster in the background always seemed appropriate." I couldn't agree more. Thanks Alxandra. *hugs* You all might not know it, but that picture is a closer resemblance to how I saw Tracy when we got married. Seeing the actual pictures of that day always throws me off.

On a Theron note, he's doing great. Not quite crawling yet; he rolls & "scoots". *laughs* It's funny; he lifts himself on hands & feet, rotates, then plops his tush back down again. he just really doesn't like being on his tummy. he's started trying to pull himself up a little. Mostly when he's outside of his walker & it's shoved against the couch where it won't roll on him. Not that it rolls very well on the carpet anyway, but it won't bear his weight without backup. As soon as I can I'll have the pics of the first time his pulled himself up (if they can be construded as that... he was kinda between efforts when I got back with the camera) & others including his 7 month shots as soon as I rename & fix them up. *sighs* Uploading is the easy part. The rest is what slows me down because I put off doing it so long.

8 October 2004
-_-
If it isn't already obvious, I've not felt much like updating the page lately. September & beginning of October are a bad time for me. Go figure. Anyway... I've been trying to keep loading new pics at least. Hope you've been enjoying them.

On a feeling stupid note: I'm trying out Sims2 (although foolish that's not what I'm talking of) on Tracy's PC & I stayed up late the night I got it trying to figure it out. Well, I got thirsty & brought in my lidded travel mug to have beside the keyboard for sipping. To cut a long story short, I went to bed forgetting it was there. Next moring Theron & I are playing NeoPets- he's using something for a drum (see where this is going?) & I soon hear water. Of course my first thought is that Theron is covered by his diaper. O_o
So the keyboard got drennched & ceased working for a while. It's mostly dried out now. At this time every key seems to work except [T], [G], [B], & [spacebar]. *sheepish* Soooo.... I can still play Sims... if I want.

Oh yeah. I'm working on my html to try & get rid of the error on the page. I think it's the java. I did a little work already, but I'll probably try it all out somwhere else before I convert this site. Keep praying.

2 September 2004
Sheepish
Okies... I'm feeling a little bad for forgetting to update this site. heh. I have added pictures to my Photobucket Album since the last time I made mention here... quite a few times actually. Feel free to check them out. I've gotta go clean up Theron's latest burp up now. :D

3 August 2004
Links
I just fixed up some link banners & added more links all around the site; both in the Links section & in the SubNavigation. Once I find where I saved the banners I made for this site I'll put the pics somewhere so that you can link to me if you want to. *half grin* That way if you want banners you won't have to make your own like I did for most of the links I have.

2 August 2004
DC Trip
Just got back from Theron's first trip to Washington DC. We spent some time with our cousins that live nearby & I got a reader's pass to the Library of Congress so I can do research for my school paper. It was really fun.

Whew!! It's been pretty hectic around here lately. This is the first day I've had at home without visitors or having to get ready to go anywhere. *grins* You can bet I'm taking advantage of it. *dozes*

I've gotten a few things accomplished too, if you can believe it. The thing that will probably interest most of you is that I am, as of this moment, completely caught up with uploading all images to my Photobucket Album... at least all those that I have in digital format & with me. *breathes a sigh of relief* Now all I've got to do is get the rest of the wedding pics on CD & scan any other pics I find as I find them. @_@ I hope I can keep up. ^_^ Now where did I put those pics Jayme just brought me...

19 July 2004
Camp Kirkwood
Strange title, I know, but for those of you who knew Tracy it's at least not unheard of (most likely). Anyway, I was going through a few of Tracy's "I'm moving again & stuff's gotta be stashed somewhere" boxes --I swear that's why some of the stuff I found in them where all in one place-- when I found these great group shots from when Tracy went to Camp Kirkwood. So scanned they became & I circled Tracy in each pic using MS Paint. *sheepish grin* I was going to use Adobe Photoshop... but I couldn't find the way to easily create a circle. Thanks to the simple programs for helping me out.
See the latest pics in the "Tracy" album at my Photobucket Album

12 July 2004
Zoo Trip!
I'm a little late updating the site about this, but there are pics uploaded already on my Photobucket Album of Theron's first trip to the zoo! His Aunt Jayme took us to the Columbus Zoo 2 July 2004. The animals were all posing well... too bad my camera doesn't have a zoom feature. *sighs* Something I will have to remedy soon.
Theron went to his first pool party on the 3rd; complete with backyard fireworks! I'll hopefully be getting copies of the pics my friend Adrian took of Theron, Erica, & his son Ethan soon. Until then you can see a few of them on his LiveJournal,The Life of a Lego Maniac. You'll have to go down an entry or two for the pics of the party. The 3 little ones are only a few weeks apart in age. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of Theron's first dip in the pool or of his first pool submergence. *sheepish grin* I guess it's okay overall cuz if I had taken the camera to the pool I probably would have forgotten it out there like I did our Queen Amidala StarWars beach towel. *sighs* Oh well.
I've got a few more pics of Tracy I found while going through some of his junk boxes. I hope I remember to scan & upload them soon. I've got to circle him in his camp pictures from Kirkwood though; it's a little difficult to pick him out of the group at times.
Until later *hugs*

19 June 2004
More Pics
3 more pics of Tracy. One from our first Halloween together, the other 2 are from the Sunday before he died; probably the last pictures taken of him. Thanks to "Nut" Zimmerman for letting me scan them in. *hugs*

14 June 2004
Lots of Wedding Pics
Okies, all the pics I have that Brett took are now up on my Photobucket Album. Hope you like them.

9 June 2004
Even More Uploads
I've gotten even more images onto my Photobucket Album so I hope you enjoy them. I still haven't finished with the Wedding Pics that Brett took, much less started on any that I might have to scan... & those include the pics our Photogropher, Nut, took. Never fear... I'll get them all there one of these days. Just keep checking in.

25 May 2004
Uploads
I've been busy uploading tons of images onto my Photobucket Album so feel free to check them out.

Also, if anyone has pics of Tracy they would like to share feel free to email me with them & I'll add them when I can so that everyone can share them. Thanks.

14 May 2004
Photobucket
I started an account with Photobucket to host all my pictures. I've already uploaded a few of Tracy & Theron, so if you want to check them out click on "site stuff" in the "Navigation" Window & go to "Friends & Family Pics". There is a link there. I'm too lazy right now to copy & paste the link directly here.
There will be more pics everyday as I scan & upload what I have or get the CDs to work right (one from the wedding is deciding it doesn't like being read for more than one pic). I hope I can make a copy & have that work.)

30 April 2004
Grief
I can't really talk about it. Please read here for more. It may take some time to load. I'll try to tell more as I know it.

25 April 2004
Welcome Theron!

Our new addition is here! *beams* Theron DeVon Gallant was born at 3:32am EST on Wednesday morning, 21 April 2004. Our little darling weighed in at 7 lbs 2 oz & is 19.75 inches long. *snuggles* He's so tiny! Today is our first full day back from the hospital. All of us are pretty whooped, but very happy to be home.

There's sure to be more later (once I've reloaded my camera onto the pc) so stay tuned!

9 April 2004
Happy Easter!
La lala lalaa! *sheepish grin*

I know... I know... almost 2 full months since I last updated & still no pictures. *pouts* Not entirely my fault! I swear! My laptop was being a poo & I couldn't get the pictures from either it or from my really cheap digital camera through it. @_@ So annoying! I had to completely reboot my laptop twice before I could run things right again. *rolls eyes* So now it's running okay & I've forgotten to re-install the camera software... so I'll have to figure out where I moved it to. *sighs* Ah, the joys of not having the house fully livable yet. *giggles*

On a happier note: I turn 27 on Sunday! *does a little happy dance* Yes folks: my birthday is once again on Easter Sunday! *grins* Isn't that nifty? It hasn't been on Easter Sunday since I turned 16. *laughs* That's what we get for using the old pagan lunar cycle to determine what day Easter falls on. *eyes sparkle* Isn't it fun how Christianity took over pagan holidays to convert the people but the effects are still in effect today? I love it!

In baby news I'm still doing good. OB tells us the head is in the right place, everything sounds & looks good, & all we've got to do now is wait. @_@ I'm not very good at waiting...
I just hope the baby can wait till after the weekend is up. *sheepish grin* As cute as it may sound, I'm not too keen at getting a new baby for a birthday present. I'm not very good at sharing my birthday either...

Had a scare today. @_@ I realized this morning before Tracy went to work that our cat, JB, hadn't bothered me all morning. Then, when I started to think about it, I realized that I couldn't remember him tribbling (yup, our cat is descendent from tribbles or something ^_^) all night long. @_@ This worried me a lot, you see, because there are still tons of ways he could have gotten himself hurt or trapped within the house (with it being still a work in progress) not to mention if he had gotten outside! So I searched the best I could (considering I don't quite have any flexibility right now) throughout the house, checking all places I figured would be the most likely traps. No JB. In a vain hope I sat outside for a while, giving the "here's treats!" whistle every so often as I hoped if he were outside he was in hearing range. That worried me too because I don't think his hearing is very good. Needless to say that after a couple of hours on the porch I thought I heard a tiny JB mew! *beams* It didn't sound like it was inside so I began wondering around a bit, looking. And there he was! He came over from the neighbors yard looking quite scared & tentative... which if you know this cat is totally non-characteristic of him. He might be a spaz-kitty, but he's normally not a scaredy-cat. Well I swooped him up & hugged him to me as I brought him inside. I figure now that he must have been outside all night at least for him to let me cuddle him as long as I did. *grins* He's not a cat that likes to be held. Anyway, he's back inside now & purring next to the baby in my tummy as I type. *breathes a sigh of relief* Whew! If I get this worried about one of my cats I'm sure it will be worse when the baby is old enough to wonder off!

Well, that's it for now. Don't know when I'll next update or what will be in the update. *shrugs* We'll just see what I feel like doing & what I can find to do. Till next time!

*PS: Just added links to Zetapets... another online Virtual Pets site. Nice drawing style, still in starting phases... but otherwise has great potential. If you're interested, please use my referal link, because the more referals I get the better my pets stats become. *grins* So check it out & register if only to boost my pets! Thanks!

21 February 2004
Long Time, No See!
Trelweny (me) & Timex (Tracy)
*sheepish grin* Sorry I've not updated in quite some time folks! As you can see from the picture I've been spending a lot of my waking time on Gaia, a cute little forum for people who like gaming & Anime. Not that I seem to be awake very often... I'm finding myself very prone to naps right now. And no wonder! Seeing as I'm 32 weeks along now! *whew!* That's right! The little one's due date having been guesstimated for April 16th I now officially have less than 2 months to go! *grins* At least as far as we can tell.

As far as the baby is concerned my OB says that we're coming along swimmingly. I've had no odd discomforture (other than what one would expect from being pregnant of course ^_^), size & heartbeat are regular, & my own health seems to be improving! *grins* The only real setbacks I seem to be having are this constant sleepyness & lots of stupid heartburn. :P I hate the heartburn, but I've found that a hot cup of cocoa &/or a toasted English muffin helps to make it go away; which is very good cuz Maloxx & Tums tend to make me ill on a good day.

As for news on this site: I am planning on doing another big update either today or Monday. Hopefully today. ^_^ I've got all my pics lined up, so if I've got enough room on this account to get most of them uploaded I will. At least a vast majority of them anyway. Of course, I would like to get in some drawing time today so we'll have to see which ends up taking priority.

Well that's about it for now!

5 January 2004
Happy (belated) New Year!
Another new year is upon us, & boy is it going to be different! Not only are we expecting a delivery from mister stork, but we discovered New Year's Daya that our sister-in-law is also with child. *mischivous grin* This is really exciting cuz the little ones will be close enough to hopefully be good playmates for each other! ...or fight like hellions if they take after their fathers. @.@
We still don't know what gender our little tyke is yet: during the ultrasound s/he continued to rotate until mommy's eyes rolled back in her head to keep us from seeing. Then the little stinker spun around to grin at the camera for the photo op! :P If this is any indication of prenatal personality we're going to have our hands full!
I hope to scan the picture in soon... then maybe I can upload it here when I upload all the other pics I keep promising. ^_^

The house is coming along rather well. We're rushing now to try & get the rest of the painting finished before our family addition's arrival 16 April 2004. Unfortunatly, we also have to deal with the flooding of our basement. :( We had hoped that other fixes down there had been the cause but after the last few days' downpour we realized it was otherwise. So now we're looking for a basement experts... oh joy.
*laughs* What was supposed to be a small update to show I'm still around got a little out of hand. *giggles* Too bad I don't have more real updates for you, but as usual I've still got it all planned! Til next time!

18 December 2003
Good News!
After months of not not trying, we're pleased to announce that we'll be getting our very own bundle of joy! Yep! That's probably why I've been feeling so off lately... seeing as I'm 20 weeks along at this point. ^_^
I hope my brother Franz likes the impromptue birthday present of hearing he's going to be an uncle! I know Eric's going to like it. Teehee!
More as I know more! TTFN!

10 December 2003
Something Fun
Okay... I've been up to no good as far as this site goes. *sheepish grin* I did want to make a tiny update just to show I'm still around... even if "around" means "wandering the web reading funny fantasy comics"!
You are an elf
Elves are the oldest of the nonmagical humanoids, yet magic is still strong in them. Descended from the fey in ages past, their affinity is with forests. Part of their blood is pixie, and they are adventurous and like merriment.
Visit the pixie forest at chasing the sunset, and see what species YOU are.

ps: my appologies to Chasing the Sunset... I had to alter your great premade banner so that it would fit in my page's space. *pouts* Hope you don't mind!

2 December 2003
Time is of the Essense...
Arrgg!!! I know I haven't updated in ages & for that I'm sorry. *pouts* With me on first shift & Tracy on second shift I feel my health is paying the price... *sheepish grin* Food is just totally unappetizing when eating alone I think.

A few updates: I'm not quiting EverQuest as of this moment. *grins* By the time we got our DSL up we'd already been charged for my next 3 months or so of EQ so I decided I might as well stay on. *laughs* Not that I'm playing all the time or anything, but at least now I might be seen in Norrath.
I'm trying to find a decent stay at home job. *crosses fingers* This is kinda a new venture for me, so it's slow going. I'm tired of not seeing Tracy & I feel having a stay at home job will help with that. If you have any help you can give me for my search please let me know. *beams* Any help will be much appretiated.
I know there's other stuff but I just can't think of it right now. More later I hope!

Internet is up & Running
We finally got our new DSL sevice up and running last Friday. *cheers* Okay, okay. I know that poses the question of why I haven't been updating before now & the answer is simple: I've been sick.

*sighs* Yeah, between the stress of whether or not we'd have a place to stay, dealing with loan terms & the new contractors, constant dust being uprooted & created as work gets done, a damp basement which has been our only refuge... I wore out & got very sick. *pouts* I hate being sick.

On a good note though: I am starting to feel better! *grins* I've got lots of updates planned, so it will be a surprise as to what I do first! I've got pics of the House in progress to upload, pics from our wedding, pics of family & friends... all in store! Not to mention the plans for moving all of this to another site & leaving this Geocities page to be the "no frames" site... once I figure out how to make a "normal" site like that. *laughs*

I've also got more links to other sites to add & some homemade Banner LInks to this site to offer everyone! That way if you really like what I've got here & you've got your own page you can share me! *grins* Whatever. Needless to say there's plenty to do. IF anyone can get me one of those Time-Turners that Hermione had in "Prisoner of Azkaban" let me know, okay? I could sure use one to get some sleep!

Our House!
We finally closed on our first house! Last Thursday, 27 August, we signed the papers that made it ours! We're really excited! Now we're really busy though. It's going to take a lot of hard work to get it fixed up nice, but I hope to be keeping everyone up to date on our progress really soon. I just have to wait until our new DSL modem shows up so that I don't have to travel to my Mom's house almost 2 hours away just to link up my laptop. *pouts* I miss easy internet access.

Sooo until I update again with lots of pics & TONS of new pages & links, please bear with me! Thanks all!

EverQuest: To Cancel or Keep?
I know it's been a while but we've been really busy with packing & getting all the paperwork for our house in order. Whew! It's a lot more paperwork than I was anticipating... but then a lot of it is for the home improvements we've got to do. *shrugs* oh well. Can't be helped.

Anyway... for those of you who know me as Cellestial Heartilily on EverQuest's Tholuxe Paels server I am once again thinking of dropping EQ. Now, before you give your opinions to me about it, please listen a sec. If I ditch EQ it's for a number of reasons:
1. I haven't been playing.
2. Lately when I've been playing I've not had much fun. Let's face it: playing just to level sucks. To die amidst that really sucks... & 'chanters die often (as Dru & Sleet well know. ^_^).
3. Time. I just don't feel like spending the time on EQ as of late... especially not just to level.
4. Money. Let's face it: the new house is going to be taking up quite a bit of both our time & money. I simply can't see continuing to pay for a service I'm not using.
5. TimeZones. Sure, I might be up when Shan & Celles' EQ Addicts friends are online... but I'm not really with it at all. I'm a danger to the group & I can't really enjoy myself when I'm that tired.
6. Quests. It's called EverQuest... I started playing hoping there was a reason for that. *sighs* Lately it seems like the only fun quests are for "experienced players" -- & let's face it: I'm not leveling fast enough to ever join those ranks.
7. Other games. FinalFantasy, KingdomHearts, .hack// series, Lunar, StarWarsKnights of the Republic, Gabriel Knight. Need I say more? Without EQ I'll have much more time to play these favorites (& some new ones too) of mine. What else do these games have in common? NO MONTHLY FEES! ^_^
8. Expansions. Not only are they adding up financially & on my harddrive, but I can't keep up with them either in game or out. *pouts* I'm still running Kunark graphics because stupid Sony Online help support won't re-give me the patch I need for my laptop to not have naked Luclin models! :P I'm feeling rather put-out to feel I need to upgrade my laptop or get a new PC merely for the sole purpose of running EQ. I wouldn't havedone it for any other game, why should this one be any different? No reason at all.

I probably have more, but I'm tired of ranting about EverQuest now so I'll give it a break. See, I think I fell in love with the concept of EverQuest & the people I've met there. It's those friends (& a little bit the characters I've built up too ^_^) that keep me attached to EQ. For the longest time it was only Order of the Enlightened drawing me to play. Now OotE is pretty sparsly represented. EQAddicts has helped dull the pain from that void... but I just can't get into it as much. *sighs* Maybe I'm just tired of the various "let's see what names we can get through the name generator" or the complete lack of roleplaying or something. Not sure.

Not that I plan on leaving Norrath completely. ^_^ Far from it. I will be using Tracy's PC to get lovely Luclin model shots of all my characters (yes, this includes all non-TholuxePaels server characters too ^_^ Not to mention a new Cellestial World Tour) as well as their stats & skills, friends lists & all before I cancel my account. Why, you may ask? Because my world jumping RPG campeign might just make an unexpected landing on Norrath sometime in the future. *grins* Expect Celles & anyone she knows to make an appearance. I'm looking forward to it myself.

I might also write a few Norrath FanFics featuring all my friends. *giggles* It would be a stretch, but I think it could be done. Speaking of... I will be posting the OotE StoryThread posts on this site eventually as well as all "In Character" stories so stay tuned! See? Good things never die!

Now, if you still want to try to persuade me to stay with EQ you're welcome to try. Just email me & I'll think about it, okay?

That's it for now. I'll hopefully have more up soon. ^_^ Wish us luck on the house closing!

13 July 2003
First Home!
Our offer was accepted for our first home! *cheers* We're still waiting for an inspection of the property, final finishing details & the actual closing stuff... but it's pretty much ours! ^_^ We're extatic!
See a picture of our 1st home!

Unfortunately... that means I most likely won't be updating this site for a while. *pouts* We'll be busy packing & moving & getting the house ready (it's going to be needing a lot of that cuz it's a fixer-upper!)so that won't leave me much time for frivilous web-playing! I'll still be checking e-mail, so if there's really something you want to tell me, email me! ^_^ I'd love to hear from you, especially since I haven't got the Campfire (aka guestbook) up & running yet.
...Yeah, I know there's a link for it, but it doesn't do any of those nifty guestbook-y things yet. *sheepish grin* If I can find a way I'll try to set it up before I disappear into housework.

On site related things: fixed my link to Snapdragon in the "Links" section. *giggles* Now it should open a new window instead of trying to open inside the "content" area. I fixed a few other things too... but they were all things that I think only I would notice. *laughs* Pretty much all cosmetic.

Anyway, that's about it for now! Thanks for visiting!
ps: there is now a new Family & Friends Pics section in the SiteStuff menu. @_@ Remember... it's all Perry's fault! *laughs*

11 July 2003
Updates
Added my first anime-related pages! *grins* I'm so excited! It's not much, but now you can actually click on InuYasha & check out my favorite Inuyasha Links. ^_^ I hope you like them as much as I do!

Also... I just realized that there is no Final Fantasy or ElfQuest sections in my page. *pouts* This will soon be remedied! I'll be adding these favorites of mine soon hopefully!

8 July 2003
Fixed!
I finally figured out why my posts here where being cut short! I must have been doing something wrong with the "span" thing. *laughs* Yeah... I have no clue either. Those of you with more insight on html & java are probably laughing at me... and that's quite fine! *giggles* I'm laughing too!

All I did was completely get rid of the "span" commands & simply use "font" commands where I needed them. Maybe not as professional, but it got the job done.

oh... & Ad? Did you see I took the music down? You where right... *sighs* It was taking up all the bandwidth... but I reallly liked it...

7 July 2003
Hi Again!
Well, I had a great Fourth of July weekend! We got to hang out with friends of mine from high school at a pool party AND we got to see "The Phantom of the Opera" again! *grins* not to mention having a short 3rdEdition D&D game with my brother & his friend. Then we came home & put an offer on a house! I'm so excited! *giggles* The anticipation is torture!

Found out that the music was causing uber-bandwidth problems so I got rid of it... *pouts* personally, I love having the music but it just won't work for the time being. *laughs* Any of you still on dial-up are probably cheering right now. *grins* Not that I can blame you...

Hopefully, everything else works. ^_^ Still haven't figured out why half of each of my update posts won't show, but then I might never figure that out. Thanks for stopping by!

25 June 2003
Ooops!
Added the first of my stories today... not that anyone will be able to see them for a while because I exceeded my bandwidth. *sighs* oops!

When we finally get back up where the site can be seen again, I've tightened it up lots! Cut back on the numerous music mp3s in favor of only one, straitened out some little technical issues, added a bit to the WebMisstress link. *grins* I did lots of boring pooring over html that I only minutely understand! *laughs*

Some things still aren't working quite the way I would like... for example the little posts here are showing about halfway through my post! *frowns* Everything looks fine to me, but I'll have to check with Misao-chan about it when she gets back from vacation.

*sighs* Might as well wait... I don't know how long the bandwidth thing is going to last. I'm hoping it's only until the end of the month & not a month from when I opened the account. ^_^ I sure feel silly about that. I bet most of the "hits" were me anyway. *laughs* So it's my fault really.

...maybe we can splurge for a monthly fee to get more bandwidth and get rid of those anoying pop-ups! That would be sweet!

24 June 2003
Updates
Added music to some of the content pages as well as links, banner-links, & more pages. Still in-process, but I'm happy with the success so far!

Do you like the fade? ^_^ I found it somewhere & just had to add it to my site! Hopefully I'll have enough memory available to do the fade for any movement around the site. It's a plan anyway!

I'll be working on a guestbook soon, I hope. The links are in place, but as of yet do not go to a viable site. 0_0 Idea is to call it the "campfire"... fire is my favorite element afterall! Then why do I have a snowy themes site, you ask? It's just that one can enjoy the warmth & beauty of fire so much better in the winter!

That's it for now! Laters!

23 June 2003
Site Opening! ^_^
I'm not sure where I got this great skiing Deedlit picture, so if anyone knows please email me so I can give him or her credit! Thanks!

Still on the subject of thanking... the idea for my weblayout is all due to my friend's site Snapdragon. She's going to be helping me figure out the little odds & ends I still don't quite understand. Thank you Gingi! *giggles* Or should I say Misao-chan?
