Restaurant Menu For Weddings and Special Occasions


Here at the Rose 'n' Bowl, we cater for up to 80 persons at one sitting in our main restaurant (minimum number 20) and 30 persons in our carvery annexe.
Our plated service menu consists of three courses and includes tea or coffee and service, and ensures a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.
Wheelchairs or disabled persons are well accommodated at the Rose 'n' Bowl - please do not hestitate to ask for our assistance.

The Restaurant is available for private hire on Mondays

THE MENU

Starters: Soup of the Day, Prawn Cocktail, Melon Boat, Egg Mayonaise, Florida Cocktail or Fruit Juice.

Main Course

Carved Sliced Joints of Roast Beef, Turkey, Lamb, Ham or Pork. Fish available on request. (Choice of Two Meats Served Together)

Vegetables: Fluted Carrots, Peas, Green Beans, Cauliflower Cheese, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts or Parsnips when in season.

Plus: Roast Potatoes, New or Duchesse Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding with Gravy.
All served with either Horseradish, Cranberry, Apple or Mint Sauce and Stuffing.

Desserts: Various Gateaux, Apple Pie, Sherry Trifle, Pineapple or Manderin Mousse, Fruit Salad or Ice Cream - all served with Fresh Cream plus Cheese and Buscuits. (Choice of Two)

Coffee/Tea and Mints to Complete.
