| Welcome to our website. We would like to share some of our most enjoyable travels and treasure hunting trips with you. We hope that you will visit and enjoy some of these places too. | ||||||||||||||
| PISMO BEACH/OCEANO DUNES | ||||||||||||||
| The first in our series of travels are Pismo Beach and Oceano Dunes. This is a great place to relax and have fun. This is one of our most favorite places to visit. This is the only beach left in Southern California that you can drive on. You can drive on the beach for about 10 miles. Visitors come here from all over for surfing, body surfing, skim boarding, surf fishing, walking along the beach and to just relax. Oceano Dunes is a favorite spot for off roaders. Visitors bring all types of off road toys. Quad rentals are available. You can ride the dunes for miles. Camping is allowed on the beach. There are no facilities on the beach but you can use the facilities at the other state campgrounds. We stay at the North Beach State Campground. This is a very nice campground for RVs and TENT camping. This is a very popular beach and during the summer months and holiday week-ends the campgrounds do fill up fast. If you plan on visiting this area MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLIER. | ||||||||||||||
