| The bear bug grabbed me in 1997. After 2 years of learning, designing and experimenting with traditional patterns i became VERY dissatisfied and disillusioned with the thousands of bears available that looked like every other bear on the market (mine included). They were just mass produced cookie cutter versions of each other in bland beige , brown or white. My crafty past extending back to my childhood led me to design bright bears with a sense of humor and whimsy. My passion for combining colours is the perfect compliment to my love for experimenting with unusual designs and my obsessive need to question "what if.....?" I always know i'm onto a winning design when my sisters and their friends steal my latest creations to cuddle and threaten to keep them. My Mission to bring fun and my wicked sense of humor (that i know many people out there share) into as many homes as i can. to create bears and buddies with personality, colour and quality. to have fun and to help put a smile on the face of every collector who adopts one of my bears. |
