I was only one year old when my Grandmother
Alice Burgess passed on
As a young child I had no memory of her
What I did know was
Her family came from around the Hants County area of Nova Scotia, Canada
They were mainly farmers and land owners
Their religion of choice was Methodist
Over the past few years
since becoming involved with our family genealogy
much more became know about this remarkable family
