She's remember happiness, then something destroys that happiness miguel and charity are in a deadly car crash that leaves her bestfriend's new bride dead, can kay be his only hope in pulling him back together. Chapter 1 Kay bennett stepped off the plane in harmony airport and looked around for her cousin and miguel who were picking her up, all she could see for what seemed like miles were people, screaming and crying over their loved ones. She spotted her parents and waved, while yelling to them, mom. dad. over here. Her parents approached her their faces sullen, she tried to control herself but it didn't work to well, she ended up throwing her arms around both of them. Her mom just stood there like a brick, kay looked at her face and realized she is still mad that I left, Her dad tried to make up for both of them, a big smile on his face he held kay as if she was a child. Kay had longed for this while she was in Miami, trying to make a life for herself. She wanted to forget all the things that she did in harmony, how she lost her best friend, her only friend because she wanted something to badly. She smiled rembering the day she met James, the day she fell in love with him, the day she made love to him and the day he asked her to be his wife. She looked at the ground, she also remembered the day that she told him she had to go back to harmony, how sorry she was. She saw the look on his face, he said he was going for a drive.. he said he'd be back, she remembered the phone call that changed her life forever, how they said James was dead, how it was a hit and run. She was numb for days, she cried for weeks, Rembering his sweet words, playing with a diamond he put on her finger, knowing she wouldn't see his face again until she went to heaven, if she went to heaven. The car stopping pulled kay out of her daydream, she stepped out of the car and looked around, the house stared at her as she did to it. She hadn't remember how beautiful it was, her breath caught as she glazed up to her old room where she spent many-a nights talking to her best friend simone on the phone. She should, she remember, say her once best friend simone, because at this moment she did not know if simone was still speaking to her. She looked around and realized her parents were already opening the door, silently she grabbed her carry-on bag and followed them into the foyer. She smiled rembering before all the drama started, before they had rebuilt their house, before her parents marriage came crashing down and before miguel.
