January 17

The day of sadness approaches
No interventions stop the ticking of time
For life is to be stirred elsewhere
Breathing will sustain the body
But the heart will not beat
Like the tearing of one soul
Parting its beauty and disturbing its pureness
Your leaving will affect my world
The sky will turn dark
No clouds will lazily drift
Patiently I will await you
With my arms outstretch nightly
I will dream of holding you
Until my sadness will be no more
And my arms will be full
