This page is dedicated to one of my other favorite movies "I am Sam." With Sean Penn, and Michelle Pfeiffer, Michelle Pfeiffer is also my favorite actress :). There wasn't too much fan fiction about them falling in love, but I found out on google, that there was a scene between them, but the producers cut it out. I love this movie so much and this relationship that developes between Sam and Rita, and his beautiful daughter Lucy. Chapter 1: "Sam, you've taught me so much."
Sam is showing her how to dance and to have fun, just to let everything go. He's holding her and she doesn't want him to let her go. "Sam..." "Shhh." Sam says, "Don't worry anymore." He kisses her forhead and keeps holding her, she then looks into his eyes, wanting to kiss him, she's fallen in love with him but is afraid to tell him not sure of what he'll say or think. She's gotten a divorce from her husband who treated her so bad, and finding a love that's helping her and her son, and she's finding love in Sam and not wanting to let him go. "What are you thinking?" Sam asks knowing she is thinking something, and looking into his eyes. "Sam, I...." She begins to cry again even after the fun they had. "I..." "It's okay you can tell me." He touches her face gently and other hand on her shoulder gently. "I love you not just as your lawyer, or friend but more than that a lover." "Rita." Sam says looking down but then looking up again at her, "I know you're not sure but it's okay." Rita says, "I'll wait for you." She continues. "Rita." Sam then kisses her out of nowhere, he can't control himself anymore either after the two of them knowing each other already like they have gotten to know each other. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He stops kissing her realizing this may be wrong of him to do, and he doesn't want to push her away. Rita looks at Sam, her heart is broken because he feels sad of what he did. "Sam, look at me." Rita says smiling, "I loved you kissing me, that's what I wanted, it's what I've been wanting." "Really?" He says beginning to smile again. "Really." "Sam, you've brought out this new woman in me that I wasn't before and helped me leave a bad marriage, a man that didn't love me, but you loved me, you loved me through it all." "Sam, I love you so much, and I don't care what people say about us being together, if we want to we can be together, I love you and that's all you need is love." Sam looks up at her smiling knowing that's what he's always said before. Rita this time kisses Sam, and doesn't stop, her arms go around him, and his arms go around her. Sam then stops kissing her , and they both take a breath, "Would you like to go with me to my room?" "Of course." Rita says smiling knowing what may come next between them. "I always want to be sure everything is okay with you of what we do." Sam says as Rita begins to turn around to walk with him. "Sam, I'll let you know if something isn't okay. I trust you."
Sam looks at the pictures of Lucy everywhere in his room, missing his daughter so much, he begins to cry, Rita touches his heart gently looks at him, "Sam, we will fight harder to get Lucy back!" Sam looks at Rita and smiles, "We will fight harder." He says smiling still. "Yes." Rita says smiling touching his heart still, just then his hand goes over on top of hers as she's touching his heart and his hand touches her face gently, she closes her eyes, he leans in to kiss her again, and they don't stop this time. It's later on in the night and they're in bed together, "Sam, I love you." "I love you too so much Rita." Sam is holding Rita in his arms as they are in bed together after making love.
The next morning they wake up, she looks at him, and he looks at her, "You look so beautiful." Sam says looking at her, "Thank you Sam, and you look so handsome." Rita says smiling. Sam gives her a good morning kiss, and she kisses him some more. "We better get up and get breakfast." Sam says. "I'll cook you something." "Okay." She says smiling, not being able to stop smiling. Sam gets up and puts his robe on to be polite in front of her, even though they made love already and seen each other fully, and he looks back at her smiling touching her face, "I'm going to get ready in the bathroom." "Okay Sam." She says smiling loving the way he touches her so gently, then he bends down to kiss her as he's still touching her face. "You can be alone in here to get ready sweetheart." He says. "Okay." Rita says smiling still and blushing. "Sam." He turns around, and she sets up and leans close to him, "I love you." Rita says wanting to kiss more, "I love you too." He says leaning close to her too, wanting to also kiss her, he does, and she puts her arm around his neck gently and other hand touching his face, and his arms go around her, he ends up sitting back on the bed, and Rita begins to untie his robe, he puts his hand on her hand to stop her but yet not wanting to really stop her, he lets go of her hand, "What's wrong?" Rita stops not missing at all what he's doing. "We have to get ready and get breakfast ready, today's the court day for Lucy." "Okay hon." Rita says, Sam re-ties his robe good again. "Maybe we can tonight again?" Sam asks not sure of what she'll say. "Of course." Rita says. Sam finally gets up and goes and get's ready in the bathroom and Rita gets dressed as well, she's in front of the mirror brushing her hair and putting on makeup, and Sam comes out of the bathroom dressed, he looks at her, she's putting on her lip stick, and says "What?" "You're so beautiful." "You always say that." Rita says, "But you are." He puts his arm around her, and she turns to him setting her lip stick down, "Thank you Sam." Now with his arms around her waist and her arms around his shoulders again, "Sam, I feel so safe in your arms, like nothing could hurt me anymore. When I found out my husband was cheating on me, I like to have wanted to end everything, I felt not good enough, like what did I do that was wrong?" Sam then brings her face gently to face him, "You did nothing wrong, he did." He kisses her forhead and holds her, and she cries in his arms, with her head on his shoulder, and he holds her continually some more while they have some time still. "You did nothing wrong Rita, you are so beautiful and I say it because I mean it, I truly mean it. Lucy and you are my diamonds." He says smiling. "You both are what's keeping me going." Sam says looking at her. "Sam, I started falling in love with you and I wanted to tell you so many times before but I was worried." "You worry too much." Sam says. "Please honey, don't worry anymore, I am here." Sam holds her lovingly. "Okay, now we have to get ready to go to court, I am going to go make breakfast, I'll be in the kitchen." "Okay, I love you." Rita says smiling at him, "I love you too." Sam says as kisses her, he gets her lipstick on his mouth, she laughs and he says "What?" She grabs a tissue and whipes his mouth off, "You got my lipstick on you." Sam smiles, "I'll look beautiful like you." "You are beautiful without makeup Sam." Rita says smiling and laughing and Sam smiles and laughs with her. Sam then leaves the room, and goes and makes breakfast. Rita comes down stairs to join him, "Smells good." Rita says, looking at the eggs and bacon and toast on the table and orange juice and coffee for her. "I got your coffee Rita, I put sugar and cream just like how you like it." "Thank you Sam." She smiles at him, and wanting to kiss him again but not wanting to get lipstick on him again.
Chapter 2: "In Court."
"Objection!" Rita says, as the guy is asking him questions again like before making him almost cry, he finally cries, and "That's enough sir!" Rita yells at him. Rita goes up to Sam, and puts her arm around him, "It's okay." "I would say you and him are more than just lawyer and client together, look at you two." Rita looks at Sam, and Sam looks at Rita knowing what they have done, she was ready for everyone to know she didn't care but then with everyone in front of her, she got afraid and is herself now almost crying because it's true she's in love with Sam, Rita doesn't say anything, just pulls her jacket down angrily and is almost in tears, Sam can see it and sense it what she's feeling. Rita runs out of the court room actually crying where no one can see, and she sits down on the wall, crying. Sam knows she's in love with him, "What you did was wrong sir!" Sam says. "I'm done this is enough for today!" "Sir, this is enough for today." The guy says not saying another word. The Court finishes for today, and Sam goes out looking for Rita, and she's not by the wall, but she's out in her car, and she's waiting for him, she sees him coming, and he gets in the car, "Rita." Rita is still crying, he hugs her, "Sam." "I'm sorry, I got afraid with everyone there in front of me, I am in love with you, but the way that guy just is he makes me so angry." Rita says crying, "It hurt me." "I know, I could feel what you were feeling, and it hurt me too." Sam said. "I came looking for you, I was worried about you." Sam says, Rita touches his face. The guy then sees from the door, and sees them in the car together with her touching his face. "They are together and have slept together." He says grinning. "I know what to do next time."
Rita then kisses Sam, and grabs a tissue from her floor board and whipes his mouth off again. Sam smiles, and so does Rita. "Shall we go get lunch?" Rita asks, "Of course." Sam says, "I'll buy this time." Rita says. "No, I'll buy." "Sam, I want to buy for us." Rita says. "Okay hon." Sam says. They go to the restuarant she wanted to take him to, "Table for 2 please." "Hi how are you?" Sam asks the waitress. "I'm good and you?" She says smiling. "I'm good, thank you, I hope you have a good day." "Thank you, you too." The waitress says. "Right this way with me." The waitress says. She sits them down by the window to look outside, "What can I get you both to drink?" "I'll have water." Rita says, "I'll have sweet tea please." Sam says. "Alright, I'll be right back with your drinks and let ya'll look at your orders." "Okay, thank you Miss." Sam says. Rita smiles at him and he smiles back. Just then, she looks over at the other table in the middle seeing her ex husband over at the other table, and her face turns pale, and she's so wanting to cry, "What did I do wrong?" She still asks."What's wrong?" Sam asks, seeing the look on her face change, and tears bringing up behind her eyes. "My ex husband is here with his girlfriend." She then sees a ring on her finger and sees them kiss, tears fall from her eyes, "Sam, I'll be right back, I'm going to the restroom, please stay here." Rita says. "Okay." Sam says. Rita goes to the restroom walking right past her ex-husband and his girlfriend, her ex-husband doesn't even look at her, ignores her but knows she's there. Sam looks back, and sees her ex-husband and girlfriend and sees Rita walking to the restroom. Rita opens the door angrily, "Why am I still hurt by that? When I've found Sam. I know Sam is loving me when my husband didn't when I was married to him, and he's loving me and helping me to see who I really am." Sam gets up, and goes over to the table where her ex-husband and girlfriend is, "Can I help you?" The guy says, and the girl giving a weird look. "Why would you treat Rita this way! She's a beautiful woman!" "Obviously, or you wouldn't be with her." The guy says. "Beauty comes from the inside out, she's beautiful from the inside and the outside." Rita comes out from the restroom crying still, but then she tries to clear her tears so her ex-husband wouldn't see, "Sam, let's go." She puts her arm around him. "You found a new one I see?" He says smartly. "Shut up Derek!" She says to him. "You should've treated Rita nicer Derek!" Sam says now knowing his name. "You're going to regret it later on, when you're with this girl you're with now, and wishing you would've stayed with Rita. But it's going to be too late." Sam says. "Why cos you've already been with her?" Derek says laughing. "I don't have time for this. We're finished eating anyway. Let's go sweetheart." Derek has the cigerette in his mouth and puts his arms around his new girlfriend. Rita cries leaning over the table, and Sam puts his arms around her, and takes her back to their table, "Sam, thank you for standing up for me." Rita says to him. "You're welcome Rita, Rita.." he says putting his hand on her hand, "I love you and I'm not afraid to say it or show it in front of others." "I was afraid in court today, and just now but I don't want to be anymore. I love you, and that's all that matters is love, and that's what we have." His hand is still over hers and she then puts her other hand on top of his and he puts his hand on top of hers too again, then the waitress comes along bringing the drinks, "Here we go." They both snap out of it, and let their hands go, "Aw, that's so sweet." The waitress says, Sam and Rita look at her questioning, "No, I think it really is sweet, I heard you two talking just now coming over, if ya'll want to be together, ya'll should and that guy was a jerk, I heard from the desk, some people won't understand the love ya'll have for each other but I do, I almost wish I had a love like ya'lls, but mine is not a good one let's just say." Sam looks at the waitress, "Miss Kelly, if he's not the one for you, and treating you bad like he did Rita, you need to leave him, and you'd be better to be by yourself til you found someone." "I don't believe in women getting hurt or man." Sam says. "Hurting someone is wrong. I hate seeing people cry, I love to cheer them up." Rita smiles at him. "Thank you Sir." The Waitress says. "Can I get ya'll something to eat?" Miss Kelly says. "I'll have a cheese burger and fries." Sam says happily. "I'll have the same as him." Rita says. "Okay, awesome." Miss Kelly says, "Miss Kelly, my name is Sam and this is Rita my girlfriend." Rita smiles at him. "Nice to meet you both, and ignore other people when they look or talk." Miss Kelly says. "It's not their opinion that matters anyways." Rita then looks out the window thinking and knowing Miss Kelly's right. When it is just him and her, she feels so safe, and like nothing else could hurt her anymore, she's so in love with him. Sam then says, "After lunch, can we go see my friends?" "Of course." Rita says.
They get done eating, and leave, and go see his friends. "Hey Sam!" They all high five each other but keep missing. Sam is still into it from last night of what him and Rita did and knowing how much in love with her he is. "Hi Miss Rita." They all say. "Hi guys." She says smiling. She then begins blushing as she's looking at Sam, not caring what they're thinking looking at her, "You're blushing looking at Sam." "She's smiling too." Sam's other friend says. "You like Sam." One of the guys says. Rita says, "Yes I do." "What?" They all say. "Sam, are you and her together now?" "Yes." Rita says before Sam could answer, she puts her arm around him, not afraid anymore, "Yes, we are together." Rita says again. She looks at him smiling and he smiles at her, blushing himself. "This is my girlfriend." Sam says to his friends. "Wow! Congratulations!" They all say. Rita smiles still having her arm around him. "Are ya'll going to get married?" The guys say. "Yes." Rita says. Sam looks at Rita, "You want to marry me?" "Yes, when you're ready to ask me." Rita says. Just then he gets down on his knee, he actually does have a ring for her she just didn't know it all this time, Rita puts her hand over her mouth shocked, "Rita, will you marry me? You already make me the happiest man, and I know I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Lucy and you are what's keeping me going." He says holding out the ring to her, "Yes! I will marry you!" Rita says, he puts the ring on her finger, and then he gets up, and they kiss in front of their friends, and his friends all clap and are all so happy, and after kissing, they say, "Can we help in the wedding?" "Of course." Rita looks at them saying. "You all can be in the wedding, and Lucy can be the flower girl." "Rita, I know Lucy loves you, she didn't love her foster mom too well, like she loves you." Rita smiles. "I know my son Will loves you." "You've helped our relationship between my son and I heal and more love between us." Rita kisses Sam again in front of his friends, she doesn't any longer care what people think.
They head to her home that night, so she can get more clothes from her house, Will has been with her ex-husband Derek since school let out for vacation. Sam is amazed by her house, "Your house is beautiful." he says, looking around amazed by the beautiful furniture and beautiful design, "Thanks Sam, but it's no loner a home to me anymore since of what my ex-husband did, and I caught him with another girl before that one in our home, right there on the couch." Rita begins to cry. Sam comes to her and holds her and she rests her head on his shoulder. "Don't cry, please don't cry, I'm here, I'll always be here, I won't leave you." Sam says. Rita looks at Sam, Sam whipes away her tears with his jacket, "Sam, you're going to get your jacket dirty." "Getting myself or anything of me dirty for you is worth it." Sam says smiling trying to make her smile and she does, she then kisses him with her arms around him.
"Rita, I love you, and I would do anything for you." Sam says after they kiss, and they kiss again. Sam then looks at the couch where he said that he saw her ex-husband and that woman together, "What are you thinking Sam?" She sees him looking at the couch then looks back at him. Sam kisses her, "I'm thinking of this..." He takes over to the couch, sets her down, Rita finds her heart pounding already, "Sam, you've got my heart pounding already, feel.." She brings his hand to her breasts where her heart is. "Sam, I...." Instead of finishing, she just kisses him, and they lay down together on the couch, and he's on top of her. Rita unbuttons her blouse, letting him see her again, and he takes off his jacket and shirt and her arms go around him and they kiss more passionately. "We shouldn't do this here." Sam says, "Why not?" Rita says. "I was thinking of it, but it's better we wait til we get back home." "Or go up to my room." She says. "Okay, I can stay here tonight with you, if that's okay." Sam says. "Of cours it's okay with me." She says smiling. Sam gets up gently and carefully not wanting to hurt Rita, and he then helps her up, and he grabs his clothes with him, and they go up stairs. Rita grabs his clothes from him and throws them on the floor, and she then takes her jacket off, and throws it on the floor and begins to unbotton her shirt but as she does Sam's hand stops hers, he says, "Let me help you." She lets go and lets him unbotton her shirt, her heart still pounding. He unbuttons it then remembers her heart pounding and puts his hand over her breast again, he then backs away, still nervous to do some stuff, "Sam, it's okay, you can touch me." Rita says whispering to him. Rita looking at Sam and Sam looking at Rita. Sam goes back to touching her breast, and he moves his hands to her back. "Sam, I love you." "I love you too." He tells Rita. They kiss passionately, and he enjoys just making love to her standing up first before they get right away into bed. He loves to take his time with her to show her how to love. Something she never felt or got with her ex-husband. They've made love once again, and are lying in bed together, Rita is asleep, and Sam is holding her and leans over and kisses her on her cheek. Rita wakes up abit later, and sees Sam is still awake looking at her, "Sam, you haven't slept yet?" "No, I can't stop looking at you." Sam says. Rita smiles and turns over to face him, and kisses him, "Sam, can I tell you something about my ex-husband I have never let anyone else know?" "Of course my love." Sam says. "My ex-husband when things started going bad, and he was cheating on me, and before I found out he cheated on me, he hit me one night, Will luckily was in his room asleep. I told him not to wake Will by him being loud, and he still hit me again." Rita begins to cry remembering that night. "I guess that's why I try to act so tough and have so much anger inside of me from my ex-husband and I take it out on my son and I don't mean to, I love my son." "Rita, you know I would never hit you or hurt you in anyway, I never like to see anyone hurt, that's always been my thing, and it hurts me when someone is hurt, I just want to hold them and make them feel better and dry their tears away." Sam says touching Rita's face gently. Rita is crying more now, "Don't cry, please don't cry." He is always telling her, and telling her not to worry. Sam kisses Rita and keeps kissing her to make her feel better and stop her crying, "Please don't cry, I'm here, I'll always be here for you, I love you." Sam says after them kissing, but still kinda kissing her. Rita then continues to kiss him not wanting to stop herself, they then begin to make love again, after them making love again, they lay down next to each other again, and she then says, "Good morning my love." "Good morning my love." Sam also says even though they've been up already and made love again. "The next court date for Lucy is next week." Sam says. "Yes it is and we are going to keep fighting to get her back. Sam, I would love to be a mother to her." Sam looks at her and says, "You know she told me she loves you, and wishes you were her mother, and she didn't love her foster mom, but that day I saw you two together, I saw the love there between a mother and a daughter. Her real mother didn't want her, and left us both." Rita looks sad at Sam, "I'm so sorry Sam. I would never leave you or Lucy, you both and Will are my world." Sam touches her face gently. "I love you Rita." Sam says, "I love you too Sam."
Chapter 3: "Next Week with Meeting with Lucy and in Court."
"Lucy, hey guess, what, you're going to have a mommy." Sam says, at first Lucy isn't sure but she knows who it might be and hopes it will be, "Rita is going to be your mom." "What?! Aw yay Daddy!" Lucy jumps up excitedly. The ladies in the room are writing everything down, and Rita is in the room behind the glass, and the ladies look at Rita shocked, "Rita, are you crazy?" One of the ladies asks, "I'm crazy in love if that's what you mean." Rita shows them the ring, and they are shocked and don't say another word to her. "Can you bring Rita in here?" Lucy asks her Daddy. He looks over at the glass wall where he knows they're all at too, and the ladies then look at Rita and say, "It's okay go ahead." They finally talk to her and understand their love together. Rita goes in there, opens the door nervously and goes in there, and Lucy sees her and runs to her, and runs up into her arms, and Rita holds her and Sam gets up smiling and comes over to his girls, and puts his arm around them both and Rita looks at Sam as Lucy is crying in Rita's arms, "Rita..." Lucy asks looking up at her new mom, "I've wanted you to be my mom, and you to love my daddy, I saw you two were perfect for each other, when I saw you two together when we went to Chuckie Cheese's that time, and you and Daddy had fun even playing the games, he had told me that night that he is falling in love with you, he was just scared to tell you." Sam looks at Rita, and Rita looks at Sam and they both smile at each other. "Lucy, I love you like my own daughter, and I'm so excited to be your mother, we're going to keep fighting for you sweetheart no matter how long it takes." Rita says looking at Lucy. "We are going to win!" Lucy says, Lucy then starts singing a beatles song that his dad sang naming her, Sam sings with her. "Rita, are you ever going to have a baby?" Lucy says thinking of the day she was born when her dad sang that song naming her. "One day." Rita says shocked she asked that. Lucy looks at Rita's stomach and then at Rita, Lucy doesn't say anything but she has a feeling Rita might be pregnant already, and not know it, because she knows how much Sam loves Rita. Lucy is only 7 but she knows a lot and senses a lot of things. Rita sets Lucy down, and Lucy touches Rita's stomach, "One day little one, maybe even sooner...." Lucy whispers the last part to herself where they can't hear. "What was that?" Sam asks Lucy, "I'm keeping it to myself Dad, I don't want you all knowing yet." Lucy looks at her dad. Rita looks shocked, and looks at Sam and Sam looks at Rita. "Alright, times up! Time for court!" The ladies come in and say. One of the ladies take Lucy, "Daddy!" Lucy yells. "You're not going to even let me hold her?" Sam says about to cry, Rita holds Sam, puts her arms around him. The ladies walk out with Lucy without letting him hold his daughter. Sam cries, and sits down on the chair, "Why must they be like this?!" "I'm a normal guy like everyone else." "Yes , you are, some people just don't see it that way. You've helped me to see so much about you, about me." Rita says looking up at him as she's kneeling on the floor below him. "I just wish other people could see it like we do." Sam says. "I know me too." Rita says leaning her head on his chest and her arm around him. She then gets up and says, "Sam, we have to go to court now." "Okay." Sam says to her. Sam gets up and they go to the court room.
Sam sees that mean guy again like last time, and this time the guy has an evil grin on his face, towards him and Rita. Rita notices it too. "Sam, come have a seat up here." The judge tells him. Rita sits down in her chair. "Don't you think yet again it would be best if Lucy went with her foster family instead of you and Miss Rita here?" The guys says evily. The judge then gets a questionable look, Sam doesn't say anthing he's already getting upset wanting to cry and Rita is also wanting to cry sitting there, and the Judge notices both of them wanting to cry and sees finally what this guy is trying to do. "Your honor, I saw these two together." "Does that mean anything?" "I saw her touch his face and kiss him in the car." He says back to the Judge. Rita is crying more over there, just then the evil guy sees the ring on her finger and says, "Miss Rita can you come here?" She goes around the tables, and to him, he forcefully brings her left arm up and shows the judge her hand, "Here's the engagement ring!" "What are you trying to prove sir?" The Judge says. "These two have been together and plan to get married!" Rita is still crying and she pulls her arm back angrily, and she's shaking, Sam gets up from his chair and goes up to her and holds her, "It's okay Rita, It's okay." He says holding her. Rita rests her head on his shoulder crying and looking at the judge and it breaks the judges heart, and knowing she's been through an abusive relationship before and the divorce recently and now finding love, a love that will love her for who she is and helping her to find herself. "That's enough sir! No more questions!" The judge finally puts his hand up and tells the evil guy. "Miss Rita, and Sam." The Judge says, Sam lets Rita go, and turns around facing the judge and Rita facing him crying, Sam was crying but Rita is crying more, Rita is trying to dry her eyes with her tissue. "Miss Rita and Sam, I find it amazing actually that ya'll have found love between one another, and Miss Rita and Sam, I find you being good parents for Lucy, and I give her over to you both, full custody! Court is done!" He hits his judging thing down on the desk. Rita then begins to smile and Sam does too, "What Lucy? Lucy gets to go home with us?" "Yes." the Judge says. Lucy then comes running out into the court to her mom and dad, jumping excitedly! Lucy runs into her dad's arms, and her dad picks her up and holds her, and Rita holds Sam because he almost falls over excitedly picking Lucy up. And Sam's friends over there cheer for them! "Now the wedding can take place!" One of his friends say. "Miss Rita and Sam, would you like me to marry you both now?" Rita and Sam both look at him and then at each other, "Yes." Rita says looking at Sam, and Sam says, "Yes." Sam sets Lucy down with Lucy holding his hand, and they both look at the judge saying yes together. The judge smiles, and says, "I hear by pronounce you husband and wife , you may kiss the bride." Sam looks at Rita with such love in him he can't control himself but there in public anywhere he has to, he kisses his new first wife. Everyone claps and cheers! The judge takes a picture of them kissing for them on his phone, and sends a picture to her email. And then says, "How about a picture of all of you together as a family?" "Okay." Rita and Sam says. "Hey, my friends can be in the picture too?" He looks at his friends, and the Judge says "Yeah." His friends come running up there excitedly, and the Judge takes the picture for them. And just then Will, Rita's son walks in the court room, "Mom." Willie says. Rita turns around, and Willie comes running up to his mom excitedly for her, knowing she was falling in love with Sam before when he brought him to his house and played with the dogs. Her son hugs his mom crying excitedly for her, "I'm so happy for you mom, I saw you both kiss before I walked in. Dad dropped me off here, he knew you were at court today this week, he called your office and asked the lady. "Will, I love you so much." Rita says holding her son like never wanting to let him go and her crying again. "I know you love me mom." Will says, "I know what Dad did to you, I just didn't want you to know that I knew, I thought being with Dad would make me happier but it doesn't, his new girlfriend is stuck up and rude, she doesn't do anything fun like you do mom, and like you took me to Sam's apartment that day to play with the dogs, and now I've got a sister." He looks at Lucy, and Lucy comes over and hugs her new brother. "I already consider you my brother Willie, like that time we went to Chuckee Cheese's and we all had so much fun together, it felt like a real family to me even then. I never had a mother, she left my dad and I when I was born." Willie says sadly, "I'm sorry Lucy." "It's okay, I have you all now." Everyone in the court room is crying now including the evil guy who tried to get them wanting to cry, he finally does and comes up to them, "I'm sorry to you Sam of what I tried to do, but I see this is real love here, I only wish I had a love like this." "It's okay, don't cry, don't cry." Sam says to him and gives him a hug. "Thank you Sam." he says to him.
Chapter 4: "New beginning, new life..."
Sam and Rita are still sleeping and Lucy and Will decide to make breakfast for them to have in bed this morning in their home, they decided to let Sam's apartment go, and move into Rita's house to have more room for the kids. "Dad, Mom." They both say. Sam and Rita wake up, luckily they are dressed this time, normally they're not but for the kids they stay dressed now. "What's this?" Rita says waking up, "Breakfast." Lucy says to them. Sam and Rita both sit up, "Aw thank you both." Rita says. "Eat up and enjoy!" They both say excitedly and walk out of the room. Rita tells Sam good morning and kisses him, and he tells her good morning and kisses her back. They eat and the kids come back alittle later, and say "We'll take your trays back mom and dad and do the dishes too, so ya'll can relax today." "Thank you sweet kids." Rita says smiling. The kids take the trays back with them and shut the door. Rita looks at Sam, "We have the best kids to help us and take care of us." She says. "Yeah we do." He says clapping excitedly. "Sam, I love you." Rita says looking at him, and he says, "I love you too." They're about to kiss when Rita all of a sudden gets sick and has to go throw up, she runs to the bathroom, and Sam comes in to check on her, she's still throwing up, and throwing all of her food up even food from last night up. "Rita..." Sam says not sure what to say. She throws up some more, then finally finishes, she goes to the sink and gets her tooth brush and tooth paste out of the cabinet, and her soap to wash her face with. She gets done brushing her teeth and washing her face, and looks at Sam just exhausted from that, and falls abit into his arms, he catches her, "Honey, are you okay?" "I'm exhausted from throwing up, I feel like I threw my whole stomach up! I never did that much throwing up when I was pregnant with Will." "I knew it!" Lucy says as the kids over hear, "You're pregnant mommy!" "Mom's Pregnant?! How do you know?" Will says, "I have these feelings and I can sense it before they even know it, like that day we met and the day before court, I knew mom was pregnant then." Lucy says. "I had a feeling." she says. Sam is looking at his daughter suprisingly, and then looking back at Rita, "Are you pregnant?" "I think so." Rita says. "I'll go by a pregnancy test just to be sure." "We'll all go with you." Sam says. "Okay." Rita says smiling wanting to kiss Sam just not in front of the kids, "Oh kiss him already mom." Will actually says. Rita looks shocked but smiles and kisses him and puts her arms around him and his arms go around her, and they keep kissing, and the kids decide to leave to let them be alone. Sam and Rita go over to the bed, and sit down on her side, and Sam moves to kissing her neck, and she's loving it, her arms are still around him holding her husband. They're about to make love, but then Sam stops wanting to respect her and the baby. "We have to stop for you and the baby." "Are you sure?" Rita says. "Yes, I want to make sure you have a good healthy pregnancy, and be sure it's okay before we do it again." "Okay, we can ask the doctor when we go." She says smiling still wanting him. "I love you Rita so much, so much." Sam says looking at her still wanting her too, "I love you Sam so much, so much too." She says back, "Kiss me." She says. He kisses her passionately and they lay down on her side of the bed he lays down gently on top of her. "Sam, I want you to take me." She says looking at him not being able to control herself and him not being able to at that moment, Sam is about to, but then he remembers the kids may walk in, "Honey, we can't. The kids may walk in." Rita looks at him touches his face gently, kisses him again, "I so want you right now." Rita says looking at Sam still, "I know, I so want you right now too but we have to wait." "I know." she nods yes. They finally get up, he gets up gently from her and helps her up, he then touches her stomach, "You're pregnant." She looks at her belly too and touches his hand on her stomach, "Thank you Sam." "For what?" Sam asks, "For getting me pregnant." Rita says looking at him now smiling, and she kisses him, and then she says, "We have to get ready now and get dressed." "Okay." He says. He gets up and gets his clothes out of his closet and she gets up and goes and gets her out on her side of the closet. Rita goes over and locks their bedroom door, so they can change together privately. "No matter how many times I see you, you're still so beautiful." Sam says seeing her as he's coming out of the bathroom seeing her change, "Thank you." She stops before getting dressed and he comes up to her, and holds her as she is, he's dressed but she's not, but he doesn't mind, that's the best way he loves seeing her when he sees all of her and loves her for who she is, that's how they fell in love, and how Sam helped Rita to love, and to love herself and to love her son.
Chapter 5: "Rita has their baby."
Rita hollers in her office as she gets up from her seat noticing somethings wrong, the lady that is her friend and understands her now, because Sam also helped that lady to understand what Rita was going through, "Miss Rita." "Call 911, and then try to get a hold of Sam." "Sam is already here, he was coming for lunch with you to take you out." Diane says as she's running to Rita's phone and dials 911, and Sam comes in Rita's office, "Rita." Rita looks at Sam with tears in her eyes, and screaming and holding her stomach. "Rita, I'm here, what's wrong?" Sam holds Rita's hand and Rita squeezes his hand, he lets go and says "Ow." "Sam I'm sorry." Rita apologizes. "It's okay Rita, I love you." He kisses the side of her head and holds her close, Rita still in pain and crying and trying not to scream but she can't help it, she looks down and sees that her water broke, "My water broke." Sam asks, "What?" "It's time to have the baby Sam." Rita tells him she looks at him smiling even in her pain. "It's time." Sam says smiling, Rita nods yes.
"It's a girl." The doctor tells Sam and Rita, "Oooohhh." Rita takes a breath, and leans back, and Sam pats Rita's head gently and kisses her forhead, and the doctor nurses put their baby girl in a towel first and hand her to Rita in Rita's arms, Rita holds her and smiles and she looks at Sam, "Look at her Sam." Sam smiles, "Sam, what do you want to name her?" "Let's name her together." "Alright." "Isabella..." Rita says, "Diamond Dawson." "Beautiful." Rita looks up at Sam smiling, "I'll take her so we can clean her and get her dressed, "It's good to see you again sir." Gerth the nurse says. "Thank you, you too Miss Gerth." Sam then leans his head on Rita's head holding her and they bring back their daughter to them, and Rita holds Isabella, "Oh she's so beautiful, she looks just like her father." Sam looks at Rita smiling and at their daughter smiling, Sam gently touches their daughters face, "She's so beautiful just like her mother." Rita smiles and looks at Sam, and they kiss, "You can hold her Sam." Rita puts Isabella in Sam's arms, and he holds her just like he held Lucy, "Reminds me of Lucy." Sam says smiling, and just then the kids come in the room, "Mom, Dad." They both say, Rita and Sam look at them, "Look, it's your sister." Sam says, showing Isabella to Lucy and Willie. "Oh, she's beautiful." The kids go over on the other side to hug their mom, "How are you mom?" Lucy and Willie ask, "I'm fine." Randy who was Lucy's foster mom and her husband are in the room, they picked up the kids from school for them, "Thank you for picking the kids up from school." Sam tells Randy and her husband, "Oh it's no problem." they both say, Rita says "Thank you." "It's no problem." They both say again. "What's our sisters name?" The kids say looking again at their new sister as their dad is holding her, "Isabella Diamond Dawson." "Just like my name." Lucy says smiling. "Yeah." Sam says smiling and Willie smiles, and Rita smiles. "I get to have 3 beautiful girls in my life now." Willie says. Rita looks at Willie surprised by what he said, and Willie puts his arm around Lucy holding his sister, "Awww Willie." Rita says smiling, and even the nurse overheard and says, "Aww that's so sweet, ya'll make a cute family, here I can take a picture on your phone Miss Rita?" "Yes of course." She hands the nurse her phone and gets a picture of all of them together and Sam holding Isabella.
Isabella wakes up crying in the middle of the night, and Rita is about to get up again, but this time Sam puts his hand gently on her shoulder and kisses her shoulder and says, "I've got it honey." "Okay." She smiles and lays back down. "Hey beautiful girl, what's wrong?" Sam says picking up their daughter, she then stops crying, "It's okay honey, shhhh." He holds her and sings her the Beatles song that he sang to Lucy when she was a baby. Rita turns over and laying down she looks at them smiling, Isabella is now asleep again and he lays her down gently and kisses her forhead. Sam goes back over to Rita and lays next to her in bed, they look at each other, "Sam, it's so sweet the way you love our kids and our daughter." Rita kisses her husband, and puts her arm around him, kissing him still, they stop abit and he looks at her and her heart pounding, she's moving her hand around on his back, "You know we haven't made love in such a long time." "Yes." Sam says immediately, and kisses her, Rita takes off her night gown and Sam gets up and gets undressed and back in bed with her, the two are completely seeing each other fully, they make love all the rest of the night and it's already almost morning, Rita is resting her head on Sam's chest, and Sam is rubbing her hair gently, "I love you Rita." "I love you too Sam." She tells him with her head still on his chest and her hand touching his chest as well. And his other hand moves to her hand that's on his chest and their fingers go into each other's fingers. She then looks up at him and he fell asleep, she kisses him, Sam awakes, "Hey sleepy head. It's time to get up." She says smiling with his hand still on her hand on his chest. He touches her face gently and moves her hair back behind her ear, and he kisses her, "I love you." Sam says, "I love you too Rita."
Isabelle cries, Rita gets up and puts on her nightgown and her satin silk white robe, and goes over to their baby girl, and says, "Good morning Bella." "Aw what's wrong huh baby girl?" She says picking her up, "Oh wet diaper." She looks at Sam saying it, and then she takes Bella over to the changing table and changes their daughter and cleans her. "Ah much better little one." She tells Bella and Bella smiles at her mom, Rita picks her up and holds her rocking her in her arms, Bella cries again, "She's hungry, I'm going to feed her honey." "Okay sweety." Sam says as Rita sits on her side of the bed and tries to pull off her robe, Sam gets up quick and helps Rita take her robe off and Rita pulls down one side of her night gown and breast feeds Bella. Sam turns away to be polite as the baby is eating, even though he's seen her before naked, but he wants to always be polite, "Sam it's okay to look, you can watch your daughter eat." Sam turns back and sits right next to his beautiful wife and their daughter. "I have the most 3 beautiful women and 1 beautiful hansome son in the whole world." He says and hugs his wife close to him and kisses her on the forhead, then they kiss and they look back at their daughter.
Chapter 6 "Bella is 10 years old now and Lucy's sweet 16 party."
I'm so excited about this chapter, I'm changing it where Lucy is now 16 and is liking a guy at school that's always been there for her, and is loving like her dad was to Rita, they fall in love, but will Lucy's dad accept them? or her being with him?...
Lucy is 16, and their having her sweet sixteen party, and there's a guy at school that she's been liking a long time, and he comes over to her, and he's always polite and sweet and kind, not like the other guys that are jerks at her school, and he's always stuck up for Lucy when they picked on her. "Hey Lucy." Griffin says. "Hey." She says smiling and blushing looking away, "Is everything alright?" "Yes." She says looking back at him quick. "Would you like to dance?" he asks her holding out his hand, she looks at him afraid, and runs away out on the balcony, and Rita sees and Sam sees, and Sam goes over to Griffin, "Hello Griffin how are you?" "I'm good." Griffin says not sure what to say. Rita checks on Lucy, Lucy's looking over the balcony out on the open view closing her eyes remembering when she was a little girl. "Mom, I know you're there." Rita is right next to her, and looking at her daughter and out at the view, resting her arms on the balcony, "Why did you run away?" "It was so much easier when I was little compared to now, and I'm getting more older and I just worry about dad, how will he feel if I went with a guy?" "I'm sure he'd be happy for you, he'd want you to be happy Lucy. He'd do anything for you." "I know, I'm just afraid, I've liked Griffin for a long time now, he's 16 also like I am and he's always been there for me when other's picked on me at school, high school is a lot worse than elementary." "I saw the way you two were just there at the table and I felt it between you two, just like how I fell in love with your dad, your dad softened my heart, and helped me to love, and to love my son, and to love me, and he loved me, and his love is still the same for me today." "Thank you Mom." Lucy says and she leans on her mom's shoulder and Rita puts her arm around her daughter, Griffin comes to check on Lucy, Rita turns around because she hears someone walking, and says, "I'll leave you two alone." Lucy turns around seeing Griffin standing there looking so handsome and tall, and strong, like they're ready to take on the world together, "I'm sorry I was like that." Lucy says to him as he comes to the balcony resting his arms on the balcony looking out then looking at her, touches her face, and like it's only them two and no one else at the party, and he kisses her, Lucy's hair is long now, her hair is flowing in the wind. Rita is looking and so is Sam, Sam doesn't say a word instead keeps it to himself, and goes up to their room, Rita is still looking at their daughter and Griffin kissing, and then notices Sam gone, and she follows him up to the room and says, "There you are." Rita shuts the door and locks it so no one else can come in while they talk privately, "Sam, what's wrong?" Rita goes over to their bed and sits down by him, "I can't believe she's with that guy. I never thought she would leave me for someone else." "She hasn't left you Sam. One day she'll find someone, just like I found you, I love you Sam so much. She really likes Griffin. He's always been there for her like you were for me." "I know, it's just hard to let her go." Sam says crying and Rita pulls him in her arms holding him, and she tries to get him to look at her, and she whipes his tears away, and he kisses her, and they kiss passionately, and she gets on top of him, in her short black sexy v neck dress, "I love you Sam." "I love you too Rita." Sam then stops her, "Wait honey, we can't, we still have guests here. We have to wait til tonight after the party." "Okay, I love you." Rita kisses Sam, and they kiss abit more then they finally get up, "Sam, it's going to be okay." She reassures him, holding him again, "I know. I'll try." "Okay." Rita says smiling at him and he smiles at her. They go out into the party again and Sam looks for Lucy, but doesn't see her or Griffin, and begins to say, "Where's Lucy?" Rita tries to calm him down puts her arm around him, and he goes up stairs to Lucy's room, and doesn't even knock on the door and opens it, and sees Lucy and Griffin making out and her dress almost coming off, and Griffin's jacket on Lucy's bed, Rita is shocked by what they were doing and almost about to do, "Lucy, Griffin it's time for you to leave now please." Sam says to him looking at Griffin and at his jacket and then back at Lucy. " Lucy looks at her dad upset, even though inside she's mad, her hair is slightly messed up from the wind and from what they were doing making out and about to. "Griffin please wait." Lucy runs after Griffin, after he's already grabbed his jacket and left, and Rita is in Lucy's room on the side, "Griffin." Lucy cries as she sees Griffin running out, Lucy pulls up her dress, and turns around to face her dad tears running down her face and her makeup messed up, "Dad, we weren't doing anything." "You were about to and that was wrong." Sam says, "Oh yeah, what about you and mom?" "We're married." Sam says, "When I was 7, you both weren't married." "That's different, Lucy you are grounded." Sam says to his daughter. Rita is still standing over there not sure what to say, but feeling for her daughter Lucy and for Sam both, understanding both of their sides. Willie is 17 now and comes in the room, to see where they all were, "What's going on here?" "Lucy was kissing a guy." "Griffin dad, his name is Griffin." Lucy says whiping her eyes, and not even looking at Rita she runs out of the room, Willie stops her gently, by her arm, "Lucy, you are too young to be doing whatever it was you were doing." Willie says, "Not you too Willie? I thought you'd be there for me." "Yes, but I'm looking out for you on these guys, you know how guys can be." "Griffin is different, why can't you both see that? At least mom understands me." Sam looks at Rita his wife and Willie looks at his mom, and Sam looks at Rita too, Rita still not sure what to say just stays silent, "Now you're going to be silent on me too mom, thanks." Lucy says and walks out mad. Lucy grabs her car keys and her cell phone and purse down stairs, and leaves, Willie tries to run after her, but she's already in the car and left, and Lucy goes to starbucks where her dad used to work, the manager sees her there and offers her anything free that she wants, "I'll have a white iced mocha coffee." She says, "Thank you anything else hon?" "Maybe an iced water as well, and a lemon bread." "Thank you." Lucy says, she's texting Griffin, trying to get him to answer, he finally does and he comes in starbucks, she's sitting at the table, and he comes up behind her and puts his hand gently on her shoulder, she kinda jumps but then sees it's Griffin, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." "It's okay." She puts her hand on his hand on the table. "I'm so sorry about my dad, he's still over protective of me." Lucy says, "It's okay." The manager brings Lucy her drinks and lemon bread, "Oh sir, can I get you anything, it's free." He asks Griffin, "I'll just have an iced water thank you." "Yes sir, thank you." he says. "Griffin, I know we're young, but this is what I want, and I want us to be together." Lucy says, "I do too, I..." Griffin pauses, "Lucy, I've liked you for a long time, and I've always been there for you and helped you and looked out for you when other's picked on you. I will never let anyone hurt you and I will never hurt you. I myself am not popular in high school." "You seem like you are." Lucy says, "I'm just nice to everyone." Griffin says."But you Lucy, out of everyone, you are the diamond in my life that sparkles so brightly." "I only hope that one day your dad and brother can see how I feel about you, and I would never hurt you, I..." The manager brings the iced water to Griffin, "Thank you." Griffin says, "You're welcome sir." "Can I get ya'll anything else?" "No we're fine thank you George." Lucy tells him. George smiles and walks behind the counter contiuing work. "Lucy, would you like to go back to my place?" "Your place?" Lucy questions him, "Yeah, I've got my own place. I know it's hard to believe." "I do work on the side of school, I work evenings and late nights to make my own money, my parents left me as an orphan and I ran away from my foster home once I had a job and started money going, and saving money in my account and I got my drivers liscence and got my car, I've built my self up and I plan on going to College to become a lawyer, I want to help people like what I've gone through." Lucy smiles at him, "I went through a foster home as well, I didn't love my foster mom as much as I did Rita, my adoptive mom now." Griffin looks at her wondering, "You can tell me anything you want hon, I'm always here to listen. I want to listen to your heart." Lucy's heart really begins pounding now, "Griffin, I want to go back to your place." "Are you sure?" Griffin asks, "Yes." They get their drinks and Griffin holds the door open for her, and they get in their cars and Lucy follows behind him, and they reach his place.
Chapter 7 "Lucy and Griffin."
Griffin unlocks and opens the door for her, and he shuts the door behind them and locks it, and she turns around to face him, and puts her hands gently on his face kissing him passionately, he kisses her passionately in return, he takes his jacket off throwing it on the floor and they go over to his couch and sit down, and she says, "Griffin will you help me unzip my dress?" "Of course." he says, she turns around, and he unzips her dress, her heart wildly pounding, Griffin is kissing her back and her head moving to the side because of how good it feels, he moves from her back to her neck and she moans abit, Griffin is just slowly loving her wanting her to feel loved and gentle love, not rushing it til she's ready, Lucy turns around not being able to take it no more and saying, "Griffin please take me." He can't control himself either actually anymore and they kiss passionately, and her hands around his head moving through his hair, and he picks her up, and takes her to his bedroom, and she takes her dress all the way off, just her bra and underwear on, and he takes off his shirt and his pants, and keeps his underwear on for now til she's ready, he doesn't want to push her into it until she's ready even though she said it, Griffin kisses her neck again and moves down to her breasts and her stomach, and then looks back up at her, Lucy then takes her underwear off with him underneathe her, and throws her underwear on the ground, Griffin looks at her, "Are you sure you're ready?" "Yes, Griffin, I'm sure." He takes off his underwear, and begins to go in her, she screams, he stops and looks at her, "It's okay." He says as he holds her not meaning to hurt her, this is his first time as well with any woman. "Lucy, this is my first time with any woman." Griffin tells her, "It is?" "Why so suprised?" "Because of how sexy you are." Lucy says, and he smiles blushing at her and kisses her passionately and she whispers in his ear, "Keep going it's okay. I want you in me, I want you." Griffin goes in her more and she screams more and moans and they're both breathing heavy, after a night of making love, Lucy rests her head on his chest, "I love you Griffin." "I love you too Lucy." "Griffin, I'm so glad I have you, I'd like to tell you about my past life now as well." "Okay." he says rubbing her shoulder, amd back, Lucy tells him about what happened with her dad, and the court, and her foster mom who she didn't love, tells of how Rita and her dad fell in love. "Oh wow Lucy, we both have gone through similar things. I didn't love my foster family, they treated me bad, and that's why I wanted out. I worked my way out, to be able to live on my own once I was old enough, I just now got this place on my own. And now I'm having you to share with it. You can come over anytime you want, even if you have to sneak out. I love you Lucy Diamond Dawson." Lucy gets up and looks at him, "We're young and in love, but we both know this is what we want, others have pry fallen in love young and gotten married young." Lucy says touching his face. "Lucy, we can't get married yet, we're still in school." "You don't want to marry me?" "No no honey, I do." Griffin says putting his arm around her as she had gotten up from him a bit and on the side of his bed. "It's just I want us to wait, til the time is right. And I want to be able to have a ring for you and ask you the right way." Griffin tells her, she looks at him, and kisses him, "I love you Griffin, you are my blessing." "Even if you were to ask me to marry you even now, or anytime, I would say yes right away. I want to be with you forever." "I'll ask you but I want to suprise you and have it be romantic, I'm a very romantic guy." He says smiling and blushing, and she touches his cheek gently and kisses his cheek, and then kisses his neck and he begins to go "Ohhh." abit. "I know what you're doing." he says, "Yeah. What am I doing?" Lucy asks, he turns to her and says, "This." He kisses her passionately again and she gets on top of him, and they make love again all the way til morning, and they're finally asleep, and it's almost noon, Lucy is the first to wake up, and looks up at Griffin still sleeping so sweetly, she gets up and gets dressed without waking him up, and she leaves a note for him on his desk and she leaves, and goes home. Lucy unlocks the door quietly as she can, and is about to go upstairs to her room, when her mom sees her, and her mom is in the living room waiting for her, her and Sam both couldn't sleep so worried. "Lucy." Rita says, Rita notices that Lucy's dress isn't all the way zipped up, "Where were you? Your father and I have been worried sick!" "I was.. out." Lucy says. "Out with Griffin?" Rita asks, knowing where she was. Lucy then turns her back towards Rita and walks up to her room mad,"I see your dress isn't all the way zipped up Lucy." Lucy ignoring her though. Lucy goes in her room and locks her door, not wanting to speak to any one right now, and goes into her shower and takes off her clothes and showers, and cries in the shower, then gets out and dries off and puts on her robe, and blow dries her hair and brushes it and then washes her face and brushes her teeth and then goes to her vanity with her robe on, and puts her make up on, and goes into her closet and picks out another black sphagetti strap dress below her knees, and gets her black strap shoes on and her earings on, and hears a knock at the door, and "It's me Lucy." Bella says, Lucy unlocks the door, and let's her little sister in, "You look so beautiful Lucy, you always do, and you inspire me." "I do?" Lucy asks her sister, "Yes, I want to be like you." "Aw that's so sweet Bella." "I feel like mom and dad don't understand me and only you do right now, not even Willie." "I go through so much at school, and I hate it." Bella says. "Are the kids mean to you?" "Yes." she says. "There's this one boy who thinks he's so smart, and he is mean to me almost everyday." "I haven't even one single friend yet." "I know how it is in school too, I get picked on still today, and high school is harder." Lucy tells her sister. "I tried telling mom and dad about it but they just say oh just be nice to them, but I'm tired of it. I just want to drop out and not go to school anymore." Lucy then stops sits down on her bed, "Bella come here." "Please don't ever drop out, even when you get older, don't. It'll get easier and maybe the reason why that boy is so mean to you is because he likes you." "Ewwww gross." Bella says, "When you're older you'll understand." Lucy tells her, "Like your age?" "Yeah." "Just wait and see when you get to high school and if he's still there, he might just suprise you, and come around and ask you out." All mom does is yell and dad doesn't want to let me go, I'm thankful he doesn't get mad but he just isn't so easy at letting me go. He still sees me as his little girl." "Yeah, you're a smart beautiful girl, and don't you let anyone tell you any different." Lucy tells her sister. Rita over hears her daughters talking in their room, and she smiles remembering how her and Sam fell in love, and then she goes back to hers and Sam's room, Sam is lying in bed asleep, since he didn't sleep last night from worrying about Lucy. Rita goes over to their bed and in her night gown still, and lays down beside him, and puts her arm around him, and her head on his chest, and she falls asleep. Lucy and Bella are in the kitchen, and Willie comes in because he slept in, from worrying about Lucy, Lucy and Bella are cooking lunch for everyone today, a late lunch, it's 2pm in the afternoon, "Well well, look who's back." Willie says, "Oh Willie stop!" Bella says. "She's home isn't she? She's alright isn't she? Griffin took good care of her!" Bella shouts abit at her brother. "I see, I just wonder how." Willie says. "None of your business!" Bella says, as Bella says that Rita and Sam walk into the kitchen, "Lucy!" Sam runs over to his daughter and hugs her so tight and cries, and Rita even cries, Lucy puts her arms around her dad, "I'm so sorry dad." She tells him, "Lucy, I don't want you seeing that boy anymore." "What?" Lucy looks at him then, and Sam is looking at her, "I don't want you seeing that boy anymore." "But dad she loves him!" Bella cries out for her sister. Sam looks at her daughter, "Have you?" "No I haven't." Lucy says, throwing down the bowl with the lettus in the sink, "Young lady that was uncalled for, apologize to your dad now!" Rita says, Lucy looks at her father, and doesn't say a word, but instead goes to the living room again, and goes by the door and grabs her purse and keys and cell phone again, "Young lady running away is not going to fix things." Rita tries to stop their daughter, Willie puts his hand on his mom's arm, "Just let her go." "What?" Rita says looking at her son, "Let her go." Willie looks at Lucy, and smiles, and Lucy tries to smile at Willie but wonders why the change now.
Chapter 8, "Sam hurt and Lucy back at Griffin's."
Sam is crying, and Rita is holding her husband in her arms in their room, and comforting him, "Sam, it's okay, I know it's hard." Willie and Bella finish making lunch down stairs, "I just can't let her go." Sam says, "I thought I almost lost her when she was 7. She's still my baby." Sam tells Rita looking at her. "I know." Rita says. "I still honestly feel the same about Willie and Bella, and now Bella is our 10 year old daughter, soon she'll be growing up too." "I know and that's so hard for me to accept also." Sam says. "I can't even get Lucy to talk to me now." Sam says. "It's all my fault." "No it's not Sam." Lucy puts her hand gently on his face to turn to face her. Rita then kisses Sam, and they kiss passionately and Sam and Rita end up laying on the bed, and Sam is on top of her with their heads at the end of the bed, and they're kissing passionately, and Willie walks by their room seeing them, and quietly locks their door before closing it, just then they hear the door close, and Sam looks up and Rita looks up too, "Someone closed the door." Sam says, Sam gets up, and goes and checks and the doors locked, "Someone locked the door for us and closed it." Rita gets up, and tells her husband, "Let's keep going anyway." Rita lays down on the bed again this time on her pillow, and Sam comes over and gets on top of her, and they're making out passionately, and get undressed and make love even though they haven't eaten yet, they are both too worried about Lucy. Willie is down stairs with Bella and he already fed her lunch, and left overs were on the counter for their mom and dad, and Lucy if she came back...
"Griffin!" Lucy hollers knocking on his door, and Griffin opens the door, and Lucy's crying so much and he holds her, "What happened?" "My parents, I went home, and got my shower and my parents still don't accept but some reason my brother seemed to be understanding now and I wonder why too." Lucy says looking at him, "Here come in here so we can talk." he says bringing her in and closing his door locking it. They sit on the couch, I was down stairs making lunch with my sister Bella and that's when they came, and it's a never ending battle with them all because I want to be with you. "Griffin, I love you, I know we haven't even had a dated a year yet but that doesn't matter to me how long we've dated, it's like love at first sight and we know it's there and it's always going to be there." "Griffin, when you go to College wherever you go, I'm going with you when you leave." Lucy tells him, and Griffin looks at her, "Are you sure?" "Yes." "You're my life now." "If I could I'd move in with you now. I just can't be with my family anymore." "Lucy, you don't want to leave your family, they love you." Lucy looks at him, "I thought you loved me?" "I do, but I want you to not leave your family, your dad and your mom love you. They just have a hard time letting you go. Just like I do when you leave and just like I had to leave you last night." "Lucy you have a beautiful loving family that loves you and cares about you, a family I only wish I had." Lucy then looks at him feeling sad for him, and puts her arms around him, and then looks at him touching his face gently, "You do, you have me and my family." "I'd love to come back with you to your house right now honey, to really meet them and get to know them, if they'll allow me there." Griffin says, "Of course they will darling." She kisses him. They then get their stuff and he locks his door, and they leave and both go back to her house.
"Look who's home." Willie says looking out the window, "And look who she brought with her." Rita actually smiles this time knowing how her and Sam fell in love. "Oh by the way mom, I saw you and dad. I'm the one who locked the door and closed it." "What?" Rita says looking at him shocked, and Sam is on the couch, and looking down blushing and smiling. Lucy unlocks the door, and her and Griffin come inside and Lucy is holding Griffin's hand, they all look at Lucy and Griffin and Lucy is silent at first, but then says, "Mom dad, this is Griffin." Rita shakes his hand first, and says, "Hi I'm Rita, Lucy's mother." "Nice to meet you Mrs. Dawson." Griffin sees Sam on the couch and goes over to him, and sits down beside him and holds out his hand for a hand shake and Sam shakes his hand and smiles at him and says, "Hi Griffin." "Hi, nice to meet your Sir." "Nice to meet you too Griffin." Sam says. Willie then comes over, and says, "Hey Griffin." "Hey Willie." "I'm Bella." Bella says coming up to Griffin, "Nice to meet you Miss Bella." "Are you going to marry Lucy?" Bella asks Griffin, Griffin's mouth literally drops, and Sam actually smiles and laughs, and Rita laughs too and so does Willie and Lucy has a shocked look on her face, and goes behind her sister and puts her hand over her sisters mouth, "I'm sorry Griffin, she doesn't know what she's talking about." "Of Course I do, I know you love Griffin and he loves you, and he is going to ask you to marry him." "Not right now." Lucy says. "Awwww. I wanted to be the flower girl in ya'lls wedding." Lucy looks at Griffin almost forgetting that her family is around them, and she lets her sister go and goes up close to Griffin, almost about to kiss him, but he stops her, "Lucy, we better sit down on the couch, here sit by your dad." Griffin sits her down, and Rita smiles knowing what they were about to do, Lucy got so lost in love with him again. "Lucy, you can be with Griffin." Sam says and holds Lucy's hand, "What?" Lucy asks looking at her dad, "I see the way you look at him, and the way he looks at you, he loves you and you love him. Like the way your mom and I fell in love and the way she looked at me that night and the way I looked at her, and we fell in love." That's all Sam could say, he didn't want to mention everything that day in his apartment, and what they did that night the first time. "Dad thank you, thank you so much, and I'll always be your little girl no matter how old I get." She tells him, "I know, it was just so hard for me to let you go, and I love you Lucy, you are my diamond Lucy." "I'm so blessed to have all 4 of my girls, that are my diamonds and my son, who is my strength." Bella comes and sits on her Dad's lap, and he holds her, and she has her arm around her dad, and says, "I love you Dad, and no matter how I old I get, I'll always be your little girl too, even when I get married one day." "What have you two been talking about?" Rita asks, Lucy looks at Rita,"It's a sisters thing and I've got a brother's thing too." She looks at Willie and he smiles and she gets up and hugs her brother, and then goes back and hugs her sister and dad, and then hugs her mom, and the last she sees Griffin, "Just kiss already." Bella says, Lucy blushes, but then it's like looking at Griffin makes her forget everything around her, so she gets close to him and puts her arms around him just looking him in the eyes, and she kisses him, and they kiss abit more before letting go. He doesn't put his arms around her though to be polite in front of her family. "Put your arms around her Griffin." Bella says smiling, Griffin does, he puts his arms around her and they kiss more. Finally they stop and Lucy looks at him, her heart pounding as she's now nervous after doing this in front of her family but they know she loves him and he loves her, that's all you need is love.
