Nobleman or Wealthy Burgher:
This costume was created along the lines of Henry VIII's Holbein paintings.  The doublet is a silver grey jacquard with steel colored medallions, white satin ribbon puffs, white satin ribbon and lace at the cuffs and collar and jeweled closure.  The coat is a midnight blue brocade with a faux bear fur collar.

Noblewoman: this one- piece costume was made  from green and dark gold silky material.  The sleeves are gathered into two puffs with a ruffled hem.  The scoop neckline is trimmed with gold ribbon and jewels.  There was also a little cap I made to go with this, not pictured.
