WEAPONS

Prime of Weapons:
This is the card of the masculine warrior, it is also the ultimate card of power, sexuality and passion; It is the card of the master of the world. The Querant who is this card, is passionate, fiery a natural born leader who is fearless in the face of adversity. Weapons are the suit of fire and action, and having singular mission and your mind set on a singular goal. You are one with the creative dynamic energies in the universe. This card is also the card of sexual desire, sexual dominance and sexual prowess.

Reversed, this card is like a sword hanging over your head, sooner of later it will fall with dire results. Now may not be the time for you to break out or break free, there is an emotional obstacle that requires overcoming first. As well you may be thinking too much with you heart and not enough with your head.

Two of Weapons:
The main aspects of the personality related to this card is indecision and a deep sense of fear, not a fear of what may happen but a fear of making a commitment of any kind at this time. The crossed swords may look to the Querant like a pair of shears about to cut him or her off from any sort of retreat or sense of safety. In fact, the swords are pointing upwards in two different directions, which actually indicate if you are willing to commit there are two or perhaps more open roads ahead, you just need to decide on something and stick with it, and move past your fear and uncertainty.
Reversed: Now is not the time to make a selection or any kind from any mundane subject to a serious life choice. The swords are now pointing downward and apart and that shows them and you as not being firmly rooted in one point with a common or coherent source of strength. Outside influences are presently overwhelming you, and now is not the time to change or start something new. The world is against you so you should heed this warning.

Three of Weapons:
A trinity of swords appear like candles or beacons, lighting the way with hope, promise and love. The suit of Weapons is outer strength and forcefulness, and threes being the inner you. So this is a card of balance, your inner strength is propelling you forward in the world and your successes in the world are building up your confidence. The tips of the swords glow like stars, and now is the time for you to reach for the heavens, because you are at your peak ability to make a serious change or improvement for the better.

Reversed: The three of Swords is still a positive card even when reversed. The swords are standing together to an equal height and standing together in a one for all all for one sort of environment. This means resolve and commitment will see you through the troubled time you may be about to face, so look deep and reach deep within yourself, because you have the courage and strength to overcome any obstacle as long as you stay focused. If anything good can come from being stubborn, then this is the time to be stubborn.

Four of Weapons:
In one word this card is; power. With the Fours being the outside world and the things around you, and the Swords being projection of your personal power and your personal strengths into the world, nothing can stop you. This card is all about you being in control, being respected and having all the security from friends and family to pursue whatever it is that is your goal. With this card you are right on target to achieve your aims. You have the love and support towards you, as well as having the presence to dominate a situation or a room just by being there.

Reversed:  You feel that the world is against you, or so it seems. The truth, be known the world is still on your side it is just that you are looking at the situation wrong. You are looking at the big picture and saying, how can I do that? When in fact if you look at the smaller elements of what is involved then everything then becomes quite manageable. You are just feeling overwhelmed and pressured, so relax take a long hard look at the problem and start the journey one step at a time. Remember Rome was not built in a day.

Five of Weapons:
The pentacle shape that is formed by the swords is barring you from your target. The swords themselves represent the four elements; Air, Earth, Fire and Water as well as the concept of Spirit. All of this simply means everything in the world is against you or seems to be conspiring against you. Weapons being the suit of energy and dynamic forces, and the Fives being the cards of failure, this card is abject disillusion with loss of strength, loss of dreams and loss of hope.

Reversed: This card is not as negative as it is in the dignified position, now it shows the loss of something that still may have been a dream but it was something that would never have been accomplished in any event. This card is saying, cut your losses and move on. It is a warning that you are on the wrong course and it is not too late to change your mind. The pentacle now inverted is firmly rooted in the ground, so now is the time to reassess where you are directing your efforts.

Six of Weapons:
Six swords are bursting forth lie a bloom in spring, and like that bloom it is time for you to embrace a new idea or a new direction. All things are possible and the future is an open road ahead. With this card you have been blessed with a chance to really make a difference in your life and in the lives of those around you. You have the courage within you, you have the wisdom to turn that courage into action and you have direction, because you have learned what needs to be done, how it is to be done and you know you can make it happen. Your time is now to seize a dream and make it a reality.

Reversed: You have a dream and you have a plan, you even have all the knowledge to make this happen, however you are caged in by either your own fears and doubts or you are allowing others to drain your strength and cloud your vision with their nay-saying and their fears. To accomplish anything you have to find your inner strength and your will to do it. If you fail, those holding you back will wash their hands of you and you will be the one bearing all the responsibility for that failure.

Seven of Weapons:
Again we have an indication of what will be an easier journey than had been expected, the swords appear crossing your path are actually on the other side of the sword that is your goal, so they do not have a really effect of the progress or the success of this question. All the problems that you are worrying about now can be easily worked on and solved once you begin to move on this task. Everything will fall into place as long as you maintain a trust in your goal and in yourself

Reversed: The Seven of Weapons is telling you before you can move on into the future you either have to deal with so issues that are going to hold you back and make this journey longer than it seems or that you have to look back at where you have been and get everything in order so you can build upon the past for a better time ahead. If you have failed at this sort of endeavour before, make a list of what you know to be your strengths and weaknesses and act accordingly. If you dont come to grips with the past and learn from it you will be destined to make the same mistake again.
