My Tribute to Kevin Tod Smith
March 16, 1963 to February 15, 2002
May he rest in peace
On February 15 of 2002, the world lost far more than just a talented and handsome actor.  Kevin Smith was a devoted family man and a generous and compassionate human being.  I hope this page can take a more positive note, and be a celebration of his wonderful career, but I mean no disrespect by its tone.  To his wonderful wife Suzanne and their three children, Tyrone, Oscar, and Willard, I wish to respectfully dedicate this page.
Kevin Tod Smith, or Smithy, was probably most well known for his brilliant portrayal of Ares, the god of war, on the TV series "Xena: Warrior Princess", and "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys".  He was indeed wonderful on both shows, quite memorable for his charming wit and charismatic vitality.  This was what made Kevin such a wonderful and talented performer.  His work also includes Lawless (1999),  McLeod's Daughters (1996), F/X: Vigilantes (1996), and Desperate Remedies (1993), but I muast confess that I too must rest with the Kev fans in considering Ares to be his best character. It doesn't hurt that the costume is entirely made of black leather of course....but I digress.
Anyways, while you're here, feel free to feast your eyes on the Kevin Smith pictures that I have shamelessly stolen from other fansites (all rights go to them, and thanks very much for the use.  If you object to their presence on my site, please send me an email, and I will graciously remove them.)  Remeber these are all posted with the highest respect and a dash of humor, a nod to the God of War.
And to everyone who does visit this page, take a moment to remember the talented actor and wonderful human being that is (and will always be) Kevin Tod Smith.
