Entry for May 3, 2007
As it happens on occasion, squirrels got to my ripening hip from Earthquake x Scentsational and ate it. Just when it was starting to turn orange! This is a cross I will try again this season. I finally have germination from some old seeds from a planned cross. First of the planned crosses to germinate is Leverkusen x Lichtkönigin Lucia. It's my hope that a disease resistant and cold hardy yellow will come from this cross. With this germination, I'm now hopeful that I will get more germination from some of the old seeds from planned crosses. 2007-05-03 20:13:02 GMT
