Entry for April 13, 2007 - Rose seed germination ![]() More germination from the unknown light pink hybrid tea from a neighbor's yard and some new germination from openly pollinated 'Queen Elizabeth' seeds. I cross pollinated 'Earthquake' x 'Scentsational' a few weeks back and there is a hip forming on 'Earthquake'. I'm looking to keep the striping from 'Earthquake' (yellow, white and red) and add some lavender to the mix from 'Scentsational'. I would also like to keep the strong fragrance from 'Scentsational' as well. Hopefully if all goes well, I should have seedlings from this cross by autumn. Still no germination from 2001-2003 seeds stratifying in the fridge. 2007-04-13 22:17:49 GMT
