Scott's Diamonds Black Checkered Giant, 6/8 Buck
Diamonds is my baby! He is very friendly and loves people. I got him in December when we were in MI for Christmas. He rode the 11-14 hour drive home with the family on various people's laps. Never had an accident! He got 2 BOBs at the fair, but that wasn't hard since he was the only Checkered Giant their. Checkereds have a reputation for being mean but Diamonds is an absolute pet. Many people commented on how beautiful he is. The Judge for the Open Show noted the reason he is nice is because he is a pet. I need to work on getting him to run more on the table so that if I show him in September he will do good. Right now he would rather explore then run around. I am looking for a very loving indoor pet home for Diamonds where they will let him have plenty of out of the cage time and neuter him. I love him dearly and want to find a home for him that is better then I can give him. E-mail me if you think you can provide that home.
Bunopia's Desiree' Light Grey Flemish Gaint, Jr Doe
Desiree is Windy and Cloudy's daughter. She has some brown in her coat now but it should molt out. She has less right now (8-17-02) then in the picture above but still more then I would like. :) She is getting really big and I believe weighs more then either of her parents or Moon. She will be 7 months old August 22nd, where they are all adults. :) Unfortunatly she is getting more of her mother's personality then her fathers'. She does not like the heat and our fair at all. She was trying to nip me during Fitting and Showmanship on Auguest 14th and succeded in nipping my arm on the way back to her cage. All in all at the fair she did quite well though, and unlike her mother behaved hansomly for the judges. She got BOB in both the Open show and the 4-H show and got Best in Show in the Open show. I was so proud of her. I also used her to win Fitting and Showmanship. Suprisingly none of the judges commented on the brown in her fur, in fact they all said she had good color. They were all looking at the coloring down low where it is good. I guess they weren't that conserned about the brown due to her age. For a 7 month old rabbit she has the most inpresive show history of any of the rabbits I've owned:. 3 BOBs and 1 BIS
