WTC Fold Recap: At the home of Stacy W., Kriger had a serious fold reflecting on the attack on America. A meaningful Havdalah service set the tone. Then we were split into two groups and discussed how the attacks will change our lives and how we can help. We ended on a positive note by making clay symbols that represent our country. Jamie H., our Regional Nsiah was visiting which added to our program.
Intake & Chapter Choice Recap: Miss BBG 2001 was a definite hit. The MITs and members enjoyed various fun activities. They included Israeli dancing, decorating sashes, a formal relay race, decorating posters, and interviewing. The MITs were given party favors such as Cotton States water bottles, balloons, and a special intake CD. Intakes success was evident the following Sunday at Chapter choice. After picking up our 24 new MITs at the JCC, we headed off to Karen K.s for bracelet making, introductions and of course eating!

CLTC Report "We laughed until we had to cry, we loved right down to our last goodbye. And through the years, we'll smile and recall, we had it all just for a moment." By the end of our two weeks at CLTC, we learned the importance of being a leader, we'd found true friends, and made everlasting memories. Rikkudim, leadership sessions, Judaism classes, and chapter programs...each a special part of the CLTC. Time went by so fast and before we knew it, CLTC Presents and our last good and welfare was near. It was our last moment together. My chapter, Yachad B'Chalom, had become like sisters and it was so hard to say goodbye. Laura A.
Kallah Report " How lucky I am to have something that makes it so hard to say good-bye." Hey Gals! This past summer I went to International Kallah and it was absolutely amazing! At first I was a little apprehensive about going, seeing as that the whole program revolved around Judaism. Once I got there, however, I knew that I had made the right decision. Kallah is all about finding out what Judaism means to you, and developing your religion around what you want to believe. There is a mixture of orthodox, conservative, reform, and reconstructionist Jews so you get to see many different viewpoints about issues such as the woman's role in Judaism and what's happening in Israel. I would highly recommend to anyone that they should try to attend this incredible program. Not only will you find yourself, but you will meet wonderful people along the way! " We came expecting, we left remembering. We came empty, we left filled. We came as many, we left as one. We came as strangers, we left as friends. We came with nothing, we left with it all." Karen K.
International Convention Report I gave up my last week of summer for an amazing program called IC (international convention). It was definitely well worth it! I met people from all over the world including Bulgaria and Israel. Not only was the social aspect great, but I also learned a lot about programming and making the region and chapters better. There, I was able to help elect our new International Board while gaining about 50 lbs eating!! The international order is so different, yet so much like our chapters back at home. I definitely think IC is an experience everyone should try out! Bryna S.
