One thing very important for me to pass on is: If at any time you have a child or loved one in hospital, please make sure they are NEVER ALONE, if he or she can not speak informed for them self. you are GREATLY NEEDED!!! My child was left alone for a very short time, as a one year old, he then took apart his iv line, BLOOD was every where. I am thankful I arrived in time to clamp the line and save him more PAIN. If I ever end up in the hospital like my son, I hope someone can be there lots for me. I am a person now who likes her alone time but to be alone in such a COLD place where staff really does not give a care for who is there well...
They do not know who we are! The nurses, doctors and other pros will never know how important you family member
or friend is to you, so we need to be there for the person who is ill and
scared! I find some days still frustrating because I dearly love my son but I wonder why, if there really is a God, he or she made Ry so very sick? Why did my family grow up so called health-normal, yet my child was and always will be faced with a possible rather early DEATH? If God gives sick children to parents who can care for them, why did he make them ill in the first place? I guess Ryan's dad wasn't as STRONG as me, since he ran for the hills years ago, while Ryan was still close to dying! Another question, how do some men just run and keep running? I've seen so many mothers taking care of sick kids but I have seen some awesome fathers too, who were there also. Does God make the other fathers go away? I IMAGINE you have seen that I would love to sit down and talk to the one who is suppose to be in charge of all that goes on down here! We can only hope to have no more pain, no more WORRIES of death, no more DREAMS broken forever and that Ryan can remain on this earth ALIVE with me for another seventy year, PLEASE!!!
Perhaps God really does exist, Ryan is still here!
