Be it known that Queen Laurel ap Fiona notes a Time of Troubles plagues
her Shores. The Kingdom of Storms marches Fealty across our Northern
coast. Dark evils crawl from nightmare Waters and bring the cold chill of Winter to the Kingdom's frontiers. Villains attack the Queen's Consort and
Chancellor, laying waste to his freehold in the northern Mountains. Caer Frost itself does not go untouched in these dark times. Her Majesty Laurel Fiona Regent warded off intended assassins during attempt upon her life. Know that these crimes against the Dreaming will not go unmet.
The Duke Monteberry of the Duchy of Climbing Sky was lately summoned to
Caer Frost to make account of these failures. His words paled when held
against the tears which drown his Duchy.
Queen Laurel ap Fiona, Sorceress, Regent of the Kingdom of Northern Ice,
commends the service of Duke Aylwyn ap Keldee ap Fiona. Hero of the
Accordance War, veteran of a hundred battles, firm and just in his rule.

 The following missive was delivered by Veracity Marlinsong, eshu squire, on behalf of Sir Aericura of House Fiona, pooka Knight of the Queen's Own and Queen's Champion
Greetings to the Kithain of the Northern Ice. Greetings to Nobles and Commoners of the Empire of the Turtle, of Concordia. Greetings from Sir Aericura of House Fiona, Queen's Own Champion, hero of Rolling Crest.
Know that construction upon the Fortress of Duke Aylwyn ap Keldee ap Fiona proceeds apace. This is not, however, the reason for this announcement.
There are events this summer now past which bear upon the Northern Ice, which bear indeed upon the whole of Concordia. One months ago, in journey south from Caer Frost to meet with the Court of Tara Nar, did assassins set upon the Entourage and Carriage of Queen Laurel ap Fiona, and do unto her injury while she was without the sanctity of the Walls Impregnable of Caer Frost. Four Knights died under this assault, four brave souls. A Lady in Waiting perished also, and these assassins were prevented in their heinous intent only by power of Her Majesty's own Sorcery. A full nine assassins struck against the Queen's Caravan, evading the Auguries of warning and silently slaying four Queen's Own guards with baneful poison and wicked daggers.
Sir Aericura of House Fiona, Queen's Own Champion, hero of Rolling Crest fell also to assassin's blade, his own sorceries rendered useless by some dark power under the assassins' control.
One of these assassins was slain in the attack, 'though his corpse was carried off by his fellows before any more of their purpose could be learned. All sorcerous investigation into the source of this attempt on Her Majesty's life has been thwarted by the Mists of Memory.
Sir Aericura of House Fiona, Queen's Own Champion, hero of Rolling Crest himself leads the search to find the villains who posed this assault, and thereto offers reward.
Sir Aericura of House Fiona offers deed boon, quest boon, to that Kithain who can place end to this Mystery, and bring to Light and Justice those who stood behind these assassins' blades, those who would will harm against the Queen.
This bounty stands matched by Duke Rococo ap Ailil, betrothed and chancellor to Queen Laurel ap Fiona of Northern Ice. Any who hold this truth within their Hearts send word. Let all know that heroes gain just reward and recognition in Concordia, and that villains meet a darker fate.
