Rules_for_the

1- First and foremost have fun, but remember to be respectful
     of one another and the slaves and indentured servants.
     Remember behind every Free, slave, or indentured servant
     is a r/t role player with feelings. Keep all OOC to a mimimum.
     Do not harass or badger OOC or through your IC for
     that matter.Do not agrue or attempt to settle and OOC
     disagreement in the open room.Take it to whispers please.
     If you find you can not settle it in a civilized mature manner,
     save the script that prompted the disagreement in its entirety
     and send it to the RC;s via msn e-mail which is listed on our
     boards for your convenience. They will review the incident
     and pass judgement. If it is brought to the RC's, their
     judgement is final in all situations. (Please lets not allow
     disagreements to linger, handle them in a mature timely
     manner. If open discussion is deemed necessary the RC
     will hold a private meeting of the involved parties in a private
     room and remain present for the discussion.)

2- All free must submit a bio on our boards for approval, after
     which they will receive their Guest tags. Your bio should
     offer some detail about your back ground and how you
     came to be in New Orleans. It should also offer insight into
     your personality, skills, trades, etc. It should offer at least
     least some information about your family back ground, like
     siblings, past wives, chidren and significant occurences that
     have occured which changed your life or altered your
     personality. (If you gain Guest status an dbegin open role play
     any additional information that you may offer in role play about
     your character's skills, background etc. that is not already in
     bio should be added before you petition for permanent tags.
     Also remember as a Guest you will be bound by our rules
      just as if you had your permanent tags.)

3- This is a Member only, kill, capture, and collar zone!   Visitors
     and Guests may not kill, capture, or collar here. How ever a
     Visitor who chooses to enter into room role play is definitely at a
     high risk for getting captured, collared, or even killed. Guests
     remember you are just that, until you get your permanent tags.
     Your role play during your two week probationary period
     might prove to alter the path of role play you intend for your
     character here if you don't tread lightly with some of the
     members. ~wicked playful grin~ All kills must be verified by
     a RD, save your script and post it on the board in the
     appropriate section and they will review it and post their
     decision. Their word is final as always. (( Remember even
     permanently tagged members can loose a character through
     death but that does not by any means indicate that they can no
     no longer role play here, simply create a new character, post the
     new character bio on the boards and contact an RC requesting
     expediated approval. ( Expediated approval is available only for
     those who are already wearing permanent tags.

4- If you are a free and wish to bring a slave or indentured servant
     of your own here to role play with you, you are most welcome.
     However, for the purpose of allowing everyone a chance to get
     to know the slave or indentured servant and them to know those
     of the home, they will be required to role play as a house slave
     or house indentured servant to the Plantation Bordello for two
     weeks before through role play they become yours personally.
     This serves a dual purpose, it lets the slave or indentured servant
     learn how such are treated at the Plantation, while they are free
     from repercussions from their owner, or contract holder. And it
     allows them to learn of things that they might be able to put into
     use in their own line of role play with you. It also allows the
     slave owner, or indentured servant's contract holder to move
     about without responsibilities to theirs for a time, to do the
     same. (Their Guest tags will have code indicateing they are to
     be personally owned, TBOP, offering minimul protection until
     act of the free obtaining them is role played out at the end of
     the two week probationary period, or there abouts depending
     on everyones availability to meet for the role play. Meaning
     NO one may lay claim to the slave or indentured servant as
     theirs other than the one pre-designated. )

    (If you can not comply with this, then you should consider
     taking your slave or indentured servant elsewhere to role play.

5- Conduct yourself like a free person. Remember you are not
    exempt from collaring or being indentured. (That would just
     just simply make the role play too predictable and lets face it
     it is the rush of the unexpected that makes role play fun.) So if
     you conduct yourself like a submissive or a slave in an open
     room you may very well find yourself collared to the Plantation.
     (Private quarters, and locations away from Plantation properties
      are a safe zone for such activities to accomodate those of you
      who are switches, take heed fo those locations or Don't
      complain when you get collared.)

6- Unattached free, married free, and slave or indentured servant
    owning free are expected to interact with the other slaves,
    indentured servants, free, and guests in open role play, as all
    role play here is not sexual and is not intended to be. This
    room is a consensual advanced adult role play room. ( This
    meaning by entering into role play here you except what ever
    may happen to your character in role play here unconditionally.)
    There will be frequent open sex sceneing, however there are also
    on going story line role play which any and all are incouraged to
    get involved in. You are expected to be involved in an on going
    story line (this applies to your slaves or indentured servants as
    well), the story line may be one already existing or you may
    start one of your own that others may get involved in. After all
    if you desire to restrict your role play to one individual or two,
    then why role play in a room at all, simply rp on msn or in a
    private room.

    (If you are NOT willing to interact with any and all who role
     play here, then this room is definitely not for you. We ask that
     you seek your role play fun elsewhere and not disturb the role
     play experience fo those who have chosen to make this their
     home. (or risk having your tags stripped from you and/or
     being booted and eventually banned completely)

7- Only those that are free and holding permanent tags may
    administer physical punishments to house slaves or indentured
    servants. And they should be mindful that neither are their
    personal property and they should be careful not to abuse them.
    Guests must report an who they feel need discipline to Madame
    Rose her self. Save the script for her assessment so she can
    come up with an appropriate punishment.
