General_Rules_for

1- First and fore most have fun. This is not real life, so keep all ooc to a minimum and know you, ooc harrassment will not be tolerated and is grounds for an immediate boot. If such activities persist it could lead to you being bannedfrom the room. This applies to everyone, Members, Guests, and visitors a like.

2-Know what you are consenting to: There will be, from time to time violence occassionally resulting in the death of a character. After all there are several open bars and social areas scattered about and tempers do flare from time to time. There will of course be an NPC staff available in some areas to safe guard against this but their intervention does not always mean you will be spared in the end. Should the offended party decide to pursue the matter at a later time you might not be so lucky. There may be extreme punishments for slaves and indentured servants within the rules and guidelines for their treatment posted on our boards.   This will most probably be true for those who repeatedly show out, attempt to run away, or turn on their owner. ( Know if you and your personally owned slave or indentured servant are on the grounds of the Plantation, Madame Rose and Terrence hold
the right to intervene if yours turns on you and their judgement and actions are
unquestionable in such matters. As your well being while there is something they
take very seriously. )   There will also be detailed sex scenes, as well as extreme
D/s scenes, some of either may involve homosexuality. After all the theme of the
room is set around a bordello.

            If you find any of this offensive or distasteful you should
                       find another room to make your home.

3- The Room Controllers are the only ones who will settle ooc disputes that
can not be settled in a mature peacefull manner.

(This is where we offer the opportunity for each player to conduct themselves in
a mature intelligent manner and attempt to resolve things like responsible adults.
However if it shows that you can not do so in a civilized un-disruptive manner
then the RC's will step in and settle it for you. )

All kills must be validated by the RC's. The script should be saved and posted to the appropriate area on our boards for validation by and RC.

We ask that everyone be honest and fair, use common courtesy. If there is an
unresolvable issue and the RC's are not present, script it and post it to the boards in the appropriate area for judgement by an RC. Thank you Madame Rose

4- Anyone causing trouble or disrupting role play within this room will be asked
to leave. That goes for Members and visitors alike. To put it plain and simple,
"We are here to role play and have a good time and if you disrupt that you are not wanted here." Any behavior that is seen as disruptive or ill suited will be seen as
an infraction against those who have chosen to make this room their home. You
will be warned once to chill, and get a grip or leave.   Failure to comply will result in your being booted. Repeated offenses could get you banned.

5- We welcome all visitors to our room, however we do ask that you choose a
proper name and put ~o~ after it as you enter. ( Enter name, and Anons will not
be tolerated here, you will be asked to take a proper name and if you do not comply immediately you will be booted.) This, ~o~ does not guarantee safety here, if you interact in the open room, you do so at your own risk and will be considered an interloper if you have not submitted a bio and gotten approval and this will most likely result in you being incarcerated, placed in indenture or worse.

Players from other realms are welcome to come observe and even role play a character here by completeing the appropiate process. How ever if you are observing please use a proper alias with an ~o~, rather than bringing your
character from another realm.   Thank you again, Madame Rose

6- Out right slaves, endentured servants, employed servants, and staff are all
a part of every day life here. Slaves are not allowed to carry an type of weapon
be they our own house slaves or personally owned. Endentured slaves may, once
trust is earned, be allowed to carry a weapon but that is at the discretion of their contract holder.

7- All Creative Chat rules apply in this room.

8- AV's should be no larger than 370 high and 500 wide and no less than
250 high and 300 wide.

9- We are newbie friendly if after reading our web site and observing you have
questions please feel free to whisper any member. The only dumb question is the
one you did not ask.

10- As we are an advanced adult role play room we ask that your strive to make
your posts detailed and descriptive. No offense against anyone, new or old, but one or two line posts simply do not paint a good mental image, which is a must for
good quality role play. We were however all once newbies and/or inexperienced, so as long as we see you are striving to improve you will be welcome here.

11- Slaves are not looked at as wild beasts here. Though some may have pets
we ask that their service to you as an animal be limited to private chambers or taken outside. Our staff though diligent in their duties cannot possibly keep the
floors and hall ways clean all the time due to the constant flow of patrons we have here. Not to mention our patrons often partake of beverages from the bars in abundance and find it difficult to maneuver in open areas little lone one with a pet crawling around on all fours. There for when in public rooms please have your pets walk up right and take their meals and beverages in a human manner, leads or harnesses are fine though. There is a corral for pony training and equipment to be had in the stables as well as stalls specified for stabling your pony. Do remember pony's are not allowed in the buildings other than the stable or the blacksmith shop when in harnesses or other pony equipment.   After all they must learn their place.

12- There will be no beastiality, child play, snuffing, or maiming tollerated.

13- No one will play a character under the age of 18. Children may be referred to
but can not be role played unless they are at least 18 years of age.

14- Pregnancies happen, it is a fact of life. The local witch woman, voodoo practioner, or root woman remedies do not always work, though they are readily available should you wish to purchase them. And all the girls at the bordello are required to take them regularly. There should be a script placed on the boards once per month for each girl haveing received and taken theirs from Madame Rose or Terrence.

However babies and children are restricted to a detached wing off the back of the main house so as not to disturb roleplay, with tantrums, crying, squeeling and such.
Married couples will be expected to acquire living accomodations off grounds. Those can be acquired in the main city of New Orleans, French Quarters, or a private plot of land or near by plantation. The couples ( or individually should one be so inclined ) are welcome to come and visit the Plantation Bordello, even rent a room for one night or more, but their underage children and pets should remain at
their private residences.

Also extended periods of moodiness or tantrums due to pregnancy being played out in role play will not be tollerated. You will be warned once if you do not correct the situation you will be booted for 3 to 10 minutes. It will be expected when you
return to the room for you mood to have shifted. No one wants to deal with the extended periods of emotional drama of a pregnant woman, not even some women.
Remember the idea is for everyone to have fun.

15- Your 1st and main Character must be the same sex that you are in real time. Cross sex playing is allowed in this room only if you are granted permission to have a second
character, that character may be a sex other than the player is r/t, with permission from
the room RC, Madame Rose.

16- This is NOT a pick up room, all characters will be expected to offer input into
the role play within the room, or start a path of role play with their character within the scope of the room other than their sexual activity. We require that everyone be open to others in the room for role play, at least a few hours of your role play time per week. Please do not restrict your role play time to the same one or two people every time you come into the room. Please give everyone the opportunity to get to know the player and the character.

17- As rule we only allow one character per player. How ever this rule might have
exceptions occassionally for those the RC's feel are capable of running two
characters and not allowing one of the characters to know things the other one has been privy to . Such a thing must be discussed privately with Madame Rose and Terrence to get approval before your second character may be allowed to
interact in the room. ( This will be a rare thing and if it is approved and we see
that you are abusing it in any way you will be asked to role play one of the characters leaving permanently and not bring that character back into the room
again. ) Please adhere to the one character per player otherwise to role play more than one character here with out approval will result in you being banned from the room. Thank you, Madame Rose

18- All role play that is wished to be taken as valid within the room should be done within this room, not in whispers, your private CC room, or MSN messenger or any other messenger system. What is being said here is, if you role played a marriage proposal, a taking of virtue or a first time sexual interlude, or a kill scene any where other than with in the room it will not be considered valid and will not
be acknowledged as having happened.

We apologize for the long list of rules and the numerous pages dedicated to getting
them across clearly, but it was necessary to ensure un-necessary issues do not arise to disrupt role play. They are based on our own experiences and observations
while role playing on line. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact one of the RCs in whispers. Please abide by our rules so that everyone may have fun

This is a consensual advanced adult role play room. This means
that you consent to what ever happens in role play within this room
by entering and interacting in the open room. It is not based on any book,
play, or movie. In fact it is a fictional setting based on teh altered
historical facts of the time period and geographical locations it is set in.
This means if the Room Controllers believe your to abstract or far
fetched with your line of role play, or that your role play is just beyond
the concept they visualized for the room, they may come to you and ask
that you revise your line of role play. You will be expected to do so if you
wish to continue to be an active member of this room. Because of this we
recommend that you read all the rules and web pages more
than once to ensure you have a full understanding of what may go
