Newsletter 11 August 2001

Hi Everyone! Can you believe this is already our 11th newsletter? We also
have more subscribers with each newsletter that I send out. For this reason
I have had to switch to Yahoo Groups to mail them out. I am keeping my
fingers crossed that this newsletter makes it way to all of you.

Mary Beth has been keeping extremely busy lately. She started out the month
of July with a BANG! She attended the 10th annual 4th of July bar-b-que at
the home of Marty and Carrie Davich. As usual there were many friends and
family members in attendance.

After that it was off it New York for a few weeks to tape As the World Turns.
This time Mary Beth was able to take Danny, Katie and Matt with her. As the
World Turns put them up in an apartment for their stay in the Big Apple.

Mary Beth and crew returned home in time to pack up and head to Hawaii for a
vacation with friends.

While Mary Beth was in New York I was able to get her to answer a few of the
questions that you sent in. I will try to have Mary Beth answer a few
questions for each newsletter. Here they are:

Q: What's the most recent movie you went to see? Did you like it?
MBE: . The most recent movie was AI. I hated it!!!! Robots looked and acted
like people and then they chopped them up….and that's just one of the yucks.

Q.What is your favorite food? Favorite dessert?
MBE: French fries and chocolate ice cream

Q: Aside from Stephen, do you keep in touch with any other former costars
from Days or GH?
MBE: I ran into Tony Geary rollerblading at the beach.

Q.Favorite city/place that you have visited?
AMBE: Rottenberg, Germany

Q: I was so excited to see you and Stephen in the audience at the Emmys. Any
fun memories about your trip there that you can share with us?
MBE: Stephen and I had a great time in New York - we laughed so much. We
saw several plays.

Q: You have now been on three different daytime soap operas on three
different networks. Do you see a difference between the networks as to how
they approach the making of a soap opera? Are there any significant
differences between NBC, ABC, and CBS in the way they produce their daytime
dramas?
MBE: Surprisingly, they're all the same

Q. What is the best thing about being a mom?
MBE: The little quiet moments.

Q. Is there anyone who was particularly helpful to you in getting the "lay of
the land" in "Oakdale"?
MBE: All the cast…very normal, nice and friendly group. All very helpful
and kind to me. They all made me feel really at home.

: Now that Mary Beth is back she is busy coordinating the First Annual Dinner
to raise money for the Rancho Viejo School. I had previously sent out this
announcement
Hi Everyone! Mary Beth is in the process of coordinating the First Annual
Dinner (fundraiser) for the Aliso Academy which is housed within the Rancho
Viejo School in Orange County, California.

The dinner which will be a formal black tie affair will be held on Sunday,
September 30th at the Dove Canyon Country Club. Ticket prices are expected
to be $75.00 per person. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket,
please contact me at EvansNews@ aol.com and I will get back to you as soon as
I have the exact price.

There will be several raffles and silent auctions which are currently being
coordinated. One of the raffles will be for a PT Cruiser. The tickets will
be $75.00 per ticket. There will be no less than 250 and no more than 500
tickets sold for this raffle. You do not have to be present to win. You
must take delivery of the car in Huntington Beach. There will be several
options open to the winner of the car. The car can either be sold back to
the dealer for the cash (approximately $20,000) or traded in towards any
other Jeep or Chrysler car that is sold at the dealership. If anyone is
interested in purchasing a ticket or in getting additional information on
this raffle, please contact me at EvansNews @aol.com.

Lastly, if there is anyone that has an item that they would like to donate
for the silent auction such as tickets to the Lakers, MightyDucks, or any
other sports teams games, time shares or even products like new DVD players,
gift certificates to places in the Orange County area or from chains that are
nationwide …please contact me at EvansNews @ aol.com

Please feel free to contact me with any suggestions or questions.

Thanks on behalf of Mary Beth, Debbie Evans and myself.
