-- SOMETHING LIKE HUMAN is Pennsylvanias rock band, Fuel's second major-label album and the eagerly anticipated follow-up to their critically-praised, smash platinum album of 1998, Sunburn. "Shimmer," one of four hit singles off of Sunburn, was cited by Radio and Records as the most played track on modern rock radio in 1998. Other hard rocking radio and MTV hits generated off of Sunburn include "Bittersweet," "Jesus or a Gun" and "Sunburn" (which also appeared on the soundtrack for Scream 3). SOMETHING LIKE HUMAN will be released on September 19th.
-- "Hemorrhage" is the moody, blistering first single off of SOMETHING LIKE HUMAN. The hard-driving, vibrantly melodic "Hemorrhage" is classic, voluptuously crafted Fuel; a visceral, muscular, multi-layered track that dramatically shifts from quiet despair to a roiling, rocking, love-damaged crescendo. Brett Scallions' keening vocals are stronger than ever, beautifully and belligerently twisting about brutally emotional and reflective lyrics ("my love lies bleeding in my hands ..."), hammering home guitarist Carl Bell's provocative song of longing and heartache.

-- Fuel's unrelenting, two-year world tour schedule transformed the quartet into true rock and roll road warriors. The band opened for bands like Aerosmith and Creed, garnering enthusiastic praise from New York Times critic Jon Pareles who noted Fuel's sharp riffs, clear melodies and ability to play "with passion and precision." Fuel swiftly moved on to their own headlining gigs, selling out many venues and working with support acts like Buckcherry, Vertical Horizon, Stroke 9 and Finger Eleven.

-- Fuel launched a late summer, limited East Coast tour introducing SOMETHING LIKE HUMAN to their fans. The tour kicked off August 3rd in Allentown, PA and included the August 5 Rolling Rock Festival in Latrobe, PA, broadcasted on pay-per-view, featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Moby, Filter and others.
