| Journey to Michelle |
| Our journey to Michelle began in September of 2000 when we decided to adopt from China. At the time, the wait was expected to last 10 months, but it was extended up to 14 months due to delays at CCAA. Our paperchase also took a long time to finish. Our dossier was finally mailed to China on March 3, 2001. Fourteen long months later, we received our referral, on April 24, 2002. |

| We traveled to China on June 3 and arrived the next day in Beijing, one week before our scheduled "gotcha day." We had time to get used to the time change and visit some of the sites. These are some of the pictures we took there. |
