History
The TALENT ORGANIZATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (TOP) was organized in 1990.  Long before that, the founder, relatives and friends  got together and thought of ways to help their co-artists upgrade their position and knowledge in the various fields of art. To avoid exploitation of talents here and abroad, they decided that only legitimate artists will be accepted to join the group -- such as musicians, singers, dancers, filmworkers (scriptwriter, director, musical director, film editor, sound effects, dubber, etc.), models (commercial and ramp) and novelty act performers.
Talent Organization of the Philippines, Inc.  (TOP) is registered with the Securities and Exhange Commission.  The Incorporators, Ma. Rosario Suntay, Julius Llantada and Mariano Rodriguez, and members include Priscilla Mabalot, Gemma Llantada, Virgilia de Leon, Carmelita Llantada, Rebecca Mendez, Jerome Trajano, Rufo Mabalot, Arsenio Cruz and Grace Suntay.  Mr, Rufo Mabalot, the 1st president, and other officers/directors were inducted on April 21, 1991 by Director Nardz Belen, the honorary Chairman.
This was followed by a television presentation entitled "Himig at Sayaw Pilipino" aired on Channel 4 every Saturday, directed by Nardz Belen and produced by MRS Productions, in cooperation with the Talent Organization of the Philippines. The TOP members were the performers for the cultural show. The president of the novelty act performers, Alex Montenegro and other dancers, came from the studios of Ditas Rodriguez, Julius and Lita Llantada dancers, and Chit Fernando's dancers.
In 1992, Talent Organization of the Philippines Inc. celebrated its 2nd anniversary which  was held at the Army Navy Club. A tribute to Pepe Pimentel, famous comedian, actor, singer, host and producer, was presented for his great contribution in the field of Arts. The guest speakers were German Moreno, the late Diomedes Maturan, Nardz Belen, administrator Felicisimo Joson and Julie Borromeo. Special guest performers were from the different affiliated training centers and dance studios  -- the Rodriguez Dance Company, MJM dancers, PPR dancers, J and L dancers.  That  same year, TOP members  performed, together with Gino Padilla, in Tarlac, Tarlac for  the opening of the Star Search and MRS Performing Arts School, where Mayor Manalang was the guest speaker.
In 1993,  TOP  members were guest performers in popular tv shows like German Moreno's Master Showman on the GMA  Channel 7, Kwarta O Kahon of Pepe Pimentel, Rain Rain go away musical at the National Press Club, and the tropical island show for REUTER.
1994, TOP's Best, "Alay sa Diyos" held at the Phil-am Life auditorium on May 30, 1994, featured the Junior TOP members, Pagibig sa Diyos Music Ministry, Adventure's Band, Gregg Gierra's Models, the Novelty Act Performers of the Philippines, led by Alex Montenegro and Pepe Pimentel.  On this special day, the members were presented loyalty awards for being active members since it was organized.  TOP has acknowledged the great contributions of its members and gave trophies to different categories in the field of Arts such as best singer and best actress and actors.
1995, children of TOP members attended the regular musical workshop conducted
by qualified trainors of the organization.  Participants, youth and adults attended training and rehearsals...in preparation for their future.
