TRUE FRIENDS

A true friend is someone that cares for you -
Someone that makes you laugh when you are down.
Someone you could always talk to,
And makes you smile when there's a frown.

Just like how bells depend on the chimes,
A true friend is always near.
Someone that helps you through the hardest times -
Someone that comforts your tears.

A true friend is someone that stands by your side.
Someone that encourages you.
Even when life gets tough and you want to hide,
She'll always be there to support you.

Just like how Jesus saved us by dying on the cross,
A true friend is kind, compassionate, and humble.
She'll help you find your way when you are lost,
And will help you up, even when your world's about to crumble.

A true friend is someone that's with you 'til the end -
Someone kind, caring, and true.
I know that I'll always remember that true friend,
Because that true friend was you.
