THE GREATEST GIFT

The greatest gift of all,
God�s only son,
Sent down from heaven
To save everyone.

A sweet, little baby,
Born in a manger,
Destined to be
Our Lord and Saviour.

A young boy of twelve,
Who was very wise,
Talked with priests at their level
And opened their eyes.

A humble young man,
Who could have been treated like a king.
He could have had it all;
Instead He gave everything.

A man who healed the lame, the blind,
And those with broken hearts,
Who reached out to those
With dying souls and lives torn apart.

A gentle servant
Who touched people�s lives,
Fed those who were starving
And struggling to survive.

God�s only son,
Sent from above,
Showed us in the greatest way
His everlasting love.

A compassionate man,
A living sacrifice,
Took all the pain and sorrow
And paid the costly price.

The Prince of Peace,
Who died on a tree,
Was crucified and laid down
His life just for me.

The greatest gift of all,
God�s only son.
His name is Jesus,
The Holy One.
