He lived all his life in Lee County (except for a small stay in Michigan). He owned and ran a farm where he raised tobacco and had dairy cattle and sold milk. He drove a school bus for over 20 years an is a deacon at Rose Dale Baptist Church. He was married to Anna Mae TRENT on Feb 26 1949 in Middlesbora KY.
