FIFTH GENERATION

26. William MANNING (MANON) ⁽⁷⁾ was born in 1810. He died in 1890. He and his wife Elizabeth purchased land in Claiborne Co. now the Mt. Zion community of Hancock County in 1833. William later applied for and received a land grant of 142 acres of land from the stat of Tenn. om Claiborne Co. in 1846. Mannings still live on this land.

27. Elizabeth was born in 1810. She died in 1894. Children were:
