FLORENCE, ITALY May 24- June 8, 2001 This is a great place because the city bears the name of the many fFlorentine artists including Da Vinci and Michaelangelo. There were so many American tourists that I don't even remember speaking to any of the locals except when we checked in the hotel. It's a great place, though I prefer Rome. *Here's a website about Florence. 
This is the popular Basilica (Duomo) situated in one of the busiest tourist spot in Florence. This is a very beautiful
church.
