[ Job Description ]

Interact closely with the regional sites and corporate IT, providing solutions and propagating best practices.

Coordination and installation of database at regional sites.

Design, build, optimize and maintain all Databases.

Co-ordination and execution of training regional IT staff

Maintain through knowledge and field experience regarding emerging technologies.

[ The ideal candidate for this position will have the following ]
  • Minimum of 5 years working within IT department with two plus years experience with database tuning, indexes and transactions.  
  • Strong knowledge of SQL stored procedures and triggers.
  • Understanding of relational database (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle, etc.) with servers.
  • Experience with NT 4.0/2000 and Unix servers, Clustering for NT, UNIX arrays and SNMP.
  • (Digital Alpha, Dec Unix and Compaq Proliant are preferred). Excellent troubleshooting and communications required.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time and have current passport. 
  • MCSE preferred.
  • Strong project management skills required.
