Pokémon Teams

Some people may not agree with me, but I think I have the best Pokémon team for GameBoy (I have a big Pokédex at the back of a book of mine): Mewtwo, with Psychic, Psybeam, Ice Beam, and Recover; Exeggcutor, with Psychic, Solarbeam, Mega Drain, and Toxic; Gyrados, with Hyper Beam, Dragon Rage, Hydro Pump, and Surf; Moltres, with Fire Spin, Fire Blast, Fly, and Sky Attack; Sandslash, with Earthquake, Fissure, Rock Slide, and Slash; and Jolteon, with Thunder, Pin Missile, Thunder Wave, and Double Kick. I have carefully researched this team and find it unbeatable (unless you are a bad trainer). When playing Pokémon Stadium, use Mewtwo, Moltres, and Sandslash. When choosing a Pokémon to train, catch a few, and choose the one with the best stats. Train them to level 100 and either use Iron (Defense+), Calcium (Special Attack+), Protein (Attack+), Carbos (Speed+), Zinc (Special Defense+), or HP Up (HP+) on their weakest stat until you can't give them anything anymore or just give them the previously mentioned items any way you want. If the stat you were making better get higher than another stat, focus on the other instead. I hope this is of use to you.

This is later when I've heard of the new Pokémon. I have another Pokédex. Here is what I think the best Pokémon team now is: Celebi, with Solarbeam, Giga Drain, Psychic, and Recover (if you can't get Celebi, you can settle for Exeggutor with Solarbeam, Giga Drain, Psychic, and Egg Bomb, although it won't quite be as strong); Articuno, with Blizzard, Ice Beam, Sky Attack, and Swift; Machamp, with Vital Throw, Cross Chop, Ice Punch, and Fissure; Tyranitar, with Rock Slide, Crunch, Earthquake, and Hyper Beam; Ho-oh, with Sacred Fire, Fire Blast, Fly, and Recovery; and Mewtwo, with Psychic, Recover, Swift, and Ice Beam. I haven't put any items up yet because I just found out the previously listed ones weren't hold items and haven't decided on a new set of items yet. In training the team, start the Pokémon at the lowest level possible. Breed to get Machamp and Tyranitar and catch Lugia in the GameBoy version in which it is level 40 (you can't change Articuno, Celebi, or Mewtwo's levels). Once again, use Iron, Calcium, Protein, Carbos, Zinc, or HP Up on all of the Pokémon's weakest stats and train to level 100, or do what suits your strategy. And like before, you may want to catch multiple of the same Pokémon and choose the one with the best stats. If you are playing Pokémon Stadium 2, enter Mewtwo, Tyranitar, and Machamp into the fight (Machamp first). You may think you couldn't find 120 powerups of your choice for these two teams, but I know this cloning trick for Gold, Silver, and Crystal versions that duplicates Pokémon and items. Just go to a Pokémon Center and save when standing right in front of the PC. Then deposit the Pokémon you want to clone holding the item you want to duplicate. Choose "CHANGE BOX" and say you want to save. It will ask you if it is okay to overwrite the saved file. Say yes and immediately turn off the GameBoy. If you turn it off when "Saving..." is already on the screen, the trick will not work. You can do this with up to five Pokémon at a time. There is also a cheat I know to raise some stats a small bit, which you can keep on using until the Pokémon are strong. Use a Pokémon in battle until the PP of one move is all gone and go to the Pokécenter. Deposit the Pokémon in Bill's PC and immediately take it out again, and then heal it. Some stats will have increased. I hope you think this team is strong. Send me a message if you have any questions, objections, or suggestions.

Now I have Sapphire version and yet another guide with a Pokédex. I'm working on another team, but it's not finished yet.

I want to say that I don't have the games or any books on Fire Red or Leaf Green, so don't expect anything for it soon.
