Mekander Robot

As her planet is threatened by the monstrous Edron, Queen Medusa puts her only son, Jimi, in a capsule and launches it into deep space, in hope of saving his life.  After a long voyage, he arrives on earth where he is sheltered by professor Shikishima.  Years pass, and the menace from Edron comes to Earth.  Jimi joins with Ryosuke and Mika, children of the professor, and their friend Kojiro to form the Mekander team in charge of defending Earth.
