Baron Ashura was commanding Dr. Hell’s Army of Battle Robots that was destroying the city. Suddenly, Mazinger Z, piloted by Koji Kabuto appears and battles the robots. Mazinger Z gets caught. Great Mazinger, piloted by Tetsuya Tetsugi, appears and saves him. A tank was aiming at Great Mazinger and Mazinger Z when Boss Borot appears but puts himself into trouble. Aphrodite A saves him but also get into trouble. Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger were able to save them. o But they were overpowered by the evil robots. Mazinger Z tries desperately to get out but in the end, his hoverpileder, with him in it, was removed from Mazinger Z’s head and was thrown off. Great Mazinger tries to save him but also gets caught. His wings cut-off and he plunges down to the ground. The Mazinger Z robot was then lifted off by a ship and was brought to Dr. Hell. As Great Mazinger looks on, he was cut and was almost destroyed. Baron Ashura, on his command, tells his evil robot to take Great Mazinger also but luckily was saved by Great Booster being controlled by Jun Hono. Dr. Yumi and the other scientists inside the Photo Atomic Institute were fixing Great Mazinger, Aphrodite A and Boss Borot. They were trying to locate Koji Kabuto who appears to have landed somewhere. Dr. Hell redesigns and repackages Mazinger Z and turns him into an evil battle robot. As Sayaka, Shiro and Boss were looking for Koji, robot monsters were attacking the photoatomic center. They put on the force field. Tetsuya goes out and pilots Great Mazinger. As Dr. Yumi and Jun Hono were talking, a photon beam suddenly penetrates. It was fired from the eyes of the evil Mazinger Z now piloted by Baron Ashura. Dr. Yumi orders Jun to turn on the headlights and were astonished to see it is Mazinger Z, an evil one. They were trying to put on the force field. As Mazinger Z fires his rocket punch, Great Mazinger counters it with his atomic punch. Sayaka was calling Koji on her communicator when an unknown robot appears and passes by. Great Mazinger tries to battle all of Dr. Hell’s Robots but they were too strong. The evil Mazinger Z catches him and beats Great Mazinger. Mazinger Z was about to fire his Chest Fire when suddenly a similar but more powerful heat beam destroys all the other evil robots. A new robot, Mazinkaiser appears. Mazinger Z tries with his rocket punch, photon beam and chest fire but has no effect to Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser beats him and Baron Ashura escapes. A dead Mazinger Z was lifted and thrown off by Mazinkaiser at the Institute. Mazinkaiser then attacks the institute. Great Mazinger tries to stop him but Mazinkaiser’s Turbo Smasher Punch was too powerful. It destroys parts of Great Mazinger’s as is the institute. Sayaka talks to Mazinkaiser and unexpectedly calls Koji. Somehow, she knows its Koji who is piloting Mazinkaiser. As Great Mazinger falls on his knees, Mazinkaiser comes near, throws Great Mazinger away and punches the institute. Great Mazinger hugs and tries to stop him but again was hit back. Sayaka calls on the unconscious Koji but to no avail. Great Mazinger fires his breast burn but has no effect on Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser was about to fire his Fire Blaster as Great Mazinger runs to him and holds on his chest plates. He cannot withstand the heat coming out, and as Great Mazinger cries in pain, it looks as though Mazinkaiser is charging up its body with power (dynamite tackle) when Koji abruptly wakes up. He dreams of what has happened since an evil robot threw him from Mazinger Z’s head. His hoverpileder flew on its own. Enters a waterfall, a cave and a facility. As Koji walks, an figure of his grandfather tells him of a new robot, Mazinkaiser. He enters the place and boards the Kaiser Pileder. He flies it and docks into its head and falls into unconsciousness. Inside the institute, he wakes up and Sayaka was so happy to see him that she hugged him. Shiro and Boss enter the room also. The scientists were studying Mazinkaiser’s weapons as they were repairing the institute and the other robots. Dr. Hell and Baron Ashura were resetting their plan because now they have a new adversary, Mazinkaiser. Baron Ashura launches his Battle Ship and goes to the city to attack it. Aphrodite A, Boss Borot and Great Mazinger goes to the city and tries to liberate it. Koji was not given a go signal by Dr. Yumi to use Mazinkaiser because he believes they do not know yet of its weapons. Great Mazinger battles the evil robot with his Thunder Break but has no effect on them. He uses his Mazinger Blade but was beaten by the non-stop bombing of missiles. Great Mazinger tries to save Sayaka but his wings were cut-off. Baron Ashura was taunting Koji to come out with Mazinkaiser. Against Dr. Yumi’s advice, Koji pilots the Kaiser Pileder and Docks into Mazinkaiser. He then goes to the city and tries to save everybody. Great Mazinger tries to battle the evil monsters but they were too powerful for him. Boss Borot was hit and as was about to be fired at when Mazinkaiser used his Photon Beam and saves him. Boss Borot was able to build himself as Mazinkaiser uses its Tornado Boost and disintegrates all the other evil robots. Because of its power, Mazinkaiser was moved backward hitting Aphrodite A, Boss Borot and Great Mazinger. Great Mazinger hits Mazinkaiser to tell him that he’s too powerful. Sayaka gets mad at Koji but was caught by the other evil robots and is ransomed. Dr. Hell is interested to get Mazinkaiser. Finally, Koji gives in because he cannot stand seeing Sayaka in her robot being destroyed little by little. Koji, with his pileder goes out of Mazinkaiser’s head. The ship then straps Mazinkaiser with chains and lifts him. As they were about to take Mazinkaiser away, Great Booster attacks and cuts the chains that hold Mazinkaiser. Tetsuya shouts at Koji to dock at his robot as it slowly falls back to earth. He thus and quickly uses his turbo smasher punch and destroys the robot holding Great Mazinger and hits the ship of Baron Ashura. Great Booster then lifts Great Mazinger. He uses it like a skateboard, hits the robot that holds Aphrodite A and as she falls was catched by Boss Borot. Great Mazinger uses his Breast Burn on the robot that held Sayaka and as he falls back to earth, he again boards his Great Booster. As an evil robot was to attack Mazinkaiser with Great Mazinger’s blade, he removes the metal strap from his body and uses his Giant Missile and destroys the enemy. Behind him, a robot fires at them and Great Mazinger was smashed. Koji fires with his Photon Beam, destroys the robot and then destroys Baron Ashura’s Ship. Baron Ashura escapes with the ship’s head. Great Mazinger falls as it recognizes that Mazinkaiser is the new robot on the block. Mazinkaiser lifts him up as Boss Borot and Aphrodite A joins them. Tetsuya and Jun Hono says goodbye to all of them and were flown by a helicopter. Koji, together with Mazinkaiser, is the new hero.

· Turbo Smasher Punch - Mazinkaiser’s version of the rocket punch. The turbines in the punch begins to turn before he launches it and the punch begins glowing with energy. Not only does the enemy robot take damage from the punch but from the energy as well.

· Breath of Tornado - More powerful version of the Breath of Hurricane and Great Typhoon.

· Kaiser Scrander - like Mazinger Z’s, Scrander attaches to Mazinkaiser's back. It has three boosters for new speed. When it attaches, Koji shouts Scrander Cross.

· Wing Boomerang - Wing Scrander separates from Mazinkaiser and attack on it's own using it's incredible sharp blades. Very much similar to Great Booster.

· Photon Beam - Mazinkaiser's version of the photon laser beams. Visually not too different but more powerful.

· Dynamite Tackle - the most powerful new weapon Mazinkaiser has. He charges his whole body with energy and charges it at the enemy.

The same technology that was applied to Getter Robot resulting in Shin Getter Robot has been used to create Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser was featured in a Japanese Playstation game called Super Robot Wars F.

History: In the newest Super Robot Wars F: Final for the Sega Saturn, a new Mazinger was introduced, Mazinkaiser. Mazinkaiser is introduced right after Shin Getter Robot. Apparently Dr. Yumi used some of the same technology Dr. Saotome used to make Shin Getter Robot. At this point in the game, Koji was beginning to complain that everybody was using new or improved mechas except him. In order for him to stay competitive, Mazinkaiser was created. Mazinkaiser was created by Dr. Yumi and piloted by Koji Kabuto. In the game, Mazinkaiser is the most powerful Giant Robot type. He is the only one that has a map weapon (Dynamite Tackle) and has incredible hit points, armor, mobility, and firepower.
