My Isuzu Pagasa

My personal A.U.V. (asian utility vehicle) was assembled starting July 1996 and was finished on 17 August, 1996.  At first, it's engine was a Toyota 1C (1800cc diesel engine).  It had a five-speed transmission with a toyota crown differential (10:43 ratio).  It was fast but just after one year, it was belching smoke.  On September, 1998, the engine had loose compression.  I was offered two choices by my mechanic-friend, i could have it overhauled or just change engine.  I have decided to change engine and it was an Isuzu C240.  At first, i knew it will more torque but with lesser speed.  But to my surprise, not only that it has more pulling power but with much greater speed, more fuel efficient and much more durable.  Even with loads, i knew i have more confidence in driving my auv.  I am very happy with my engine.
