The Gilmore house has termites and Lorelai needs a loan to get it fixed. After a few failed attempts to get a loan she allows her mother to help.
Richard in Stars Hollow:
Since Richard's retirement he has been getting in the way of Emily. So Emily asks Lorelai if Richard could stay in Stars Hollow for a day. Meanwhile, Paris comes to Stars Hollow to uncover some underbelly of the small town, for the school newspaper. Also, remember last season Dean promised Rory a car well she may get it and Richard is none to happy about it.
A tisket, a tasket:
There is some kind of party in Stars Hollow. The girls make baskets for the guys to bid on and the winner of each basket gets to eat lunch with the person who made it. Lane makes one for Henry, but has someone else bid on it so her mom doesn't find out about Henry. Lorelai gets multiple bids for her basket of stale pop tarts and a slim jim, but has Luke bid on it and he wins so no one else can. Jess wins Rory's basket.
