They checked
in with Pute on news. All he had was that
the agent's hearing on the allegations against him would
be held
in the morning. They still at least said "hey" every
day to
Sundance, just to let each other know that they were
alive, free
and cooking. So they did that too.
Then Kit started
through the parts for Puter 2, intensely
thinking it all over. Jessy almost felt like the honeymoon
really
was over until Kit snapped and went over to her
on the bed and
began ravishing and undressing her with his teeth. So
the three of
them got naked and into the shower together. And, man,
I don't
know about you, but every time I think about it...you
know,
Jess's and Flee's hard, wet, nubile, soapy bodies in
the steaming
water wall...mmm MM.
They said
they just rubbed all together and 'bated each
other during that shower. Holy Eros. Back in bed, they
smoked
a little crank and were off to orgymania again, not ending
until
after sunrise. They sure didn't feel like
they were going to hell,
though, brought up in jest when telling about it. And
maybe sex
is overrated, as Tom Swift joked to me once on
the trimaran,
but that's got to be one awful tough sell.
They got maybe an hour
nap. And Kit dreampt that he was
at the kitchen door, holding Jess, and they saw the Chief
and
Swan and other Natives loading up some of the Gold out
of the
shed onto a sled attached to Heart! And their Spirit
friends
waved "good trails" to them, smiling over, then walked
out the
runway and out of sight.
That woke
Kit up, so he went to the kitchen door and Jess
followed, both of them trying to open their hurting eyes.
He told
her his dream and that he wanted to check the Gold. They
got
their boots on, there by the door, and went otherwise
naked out
into the cold to the shed and counted the boxes after
seeing none
of those on top had been pried open. They were all there.
Jul and Juli
saw their freezing butts and other parts through
their living room windows as Jess and Kit hugged and
kissed out
there, then walked back to the cabin, and Julian whistled
quietly
to his son as they gave each other their 'ay carumba,
is she
awesome or what?' looks.
Back in bed,
after cold-shocking Flece awake, Kit and Jess
decided that they would give a half million, at first,
to set up a
scholarship fund for local Natives and would ask Sundance
to get
the Indian Nations on the donation list of the concert
fund. They
were hoping that's what the Chief was telling them, as
they
explained to Flee what had happened. Of course, there
was the
history. It was the Natives' Gold.
They all breakfasted
together at the other cabin after more
orgasms, and Jul brought up some naked butts - though
booted -
out at the shed, to the giggles. So Kit and Jess related
the dream
and subsequent action, to everyone's laughs and genuine
amazement.
Then Kit and
the girls drove out to the gate to wait for BR
and caught a short nap, leaned all together with Jess
in the middle.
He soon came driving up in his black Jeep SUV, stopped
when he
saw that stand of Ponderosa and the big rock, per Kit's
directions,
gave a honk, the guys woke, walked up out of the trees
to the gate
and they all opened and closed it together and drove
on in.
BR went over
everything with everyone out on the veranda,
just loving all the guys, place and view. Then they signed
the
contract and that was it! They had champagne for toasts
and BR,
in his, remarked how our hero and two heroines looked
like, well,
hell. But nothing more needed saying after Julio's
quick story on
the naked, though booted, visit to the shed for BR's
edification.
Though Juli's smiles at Jess, during his telling, were
looking pretty
darn amorous; and Ri had a little comment for her son
about it,
which got Julian in a little pickle when Juli mentioned,
"well, Dad
saw her too".
Kit then told
them that they didn't want to be seen by nor
known about to the agents, since they didn't know who
all might
be coming. Jul and the family understood. And BR said
it was all
right by him, as long as he didn't know about anything
illegal they
might be doing, but added that he was all for whatever
they were
doing. "As long as you're not hurting anyone, guys,"
he smiled.
"Just ourselves,"
Flece commented to the chuckles.
So, in some
more minutes, Kit and the girls left to walk up
the mountainside into the forest to watch, Waldo and
Joni of Arc
following them. They were almost to the mine when they
stopped,
sat down and "rested their eyes".
A few seconds
after 10, they heard the helicopters resonating
against the rock and forest and knew right away that
they would
have neighbors snooping around after that. In moments
more, the
two Bell Jet Rangers landed in front of the barn and
several agents
got out, met and talked with BR, then the others. BR
checked and
kept their document, handed them a copy of the contract,
which
the agents checked while BR checked on his computer,
and then
by phone to his friend, the president of his bank, that
the $10M
was transferred. Then Julian and the boys opened the
shed and
the agents began taking the boxes out, checking out the
contents
and weighing them, one at a time. Forty two boxes.
"Like the
42 good gods in the 'Tibetan Book of the Dead',"
Kit quietly mentioned to the girls. "If I remember right."
"Shhh," Jess
sassed, though trying to hear the conversation
below.
Some over
a ton of Gold was loaded into the copters and all
of them down Mount Essy Jessy at the ranchstead shook
hands
all around again, then the agents got back in the Rangers,
started
them up and headed back down the mountain aimed for Denver.
Our three
ambled down to the cabins and asked BR if
everything was good and everything was GOOD! So they
all
celebrated the magnificence of it out on the veranda
some more.
BR got going
a little after lunch, Kit and the beauties
leading him out to the gate. They had shakes, hugs, kisses
and
thanks, and darn if he and Flee didn't get a little more
out of that
than just what might be usual.
Back at Mari
and Jul's, they distributed their after-tax
divvies, lit up Jul's puro and talked some more
about how it all
felt! Man! Imagine it. Even better than Lotto.
They decided to
take the day off. They called Wally and invited he and
the family
up. The dogs were scrambling off into the forest and
barking a
lot more than usual, but everyone just played music and
fiesta'd
until our three couldn't stay awake any longer. Which
wasn't
much past 10. The others razzed them about crapping out
- and
why - but it was over for Kit, most certainly.
His was an older
heart. He suggested the girls stay with the party, but
they were
too tired too.
They checked
in with Pute, whizzing away on the phone,
back in their cabin. No news. They sent Sundance the
"hey",
then got their clothes off, helping each other, laid
down and
were out like lightbulbs, all cuddled up together. Aw.
It got cold
later, but Kit just stumbled over to the
thermostat and turned it up. Now that was
tired, for him. They
dreampt, but too cloudily for memory.
Morning, though,
came right at the right time. They rolled
in the sheets for over an hour after first light, then
jumped into
the shower after some "sharing" at the throne, and the
girls were
jumping on the old man in the hot water fall.
They bounded
over to the other cabin and started making
a huge breakfast. I mean, eggs, bacon, steak, ham, toast,
French
toast, home fries, fruit salad and cottage cheese, fried
apples,
Maria's homemade coffee cake, juices galore, milk, chocolate
milk and probably a little more. And coffee. Then they
all
cleaned up together and were out the door when Wallace
got
there, already fed, they checked, though he didn't mind
a fresh
piece of Ria's coffee cake. They went up to the mine
or worked
on the fence or started on the new rooms or getting some
more
firewood or doing other chores until dark and dinner.
Then did
music and talk and drinking and stuff.
Back in their
cabin for the night, they went over Putey's
day work, including all the new stock buys, "heyed" Sundance,
then it was a little - very little - school work for
the girls,
telephone calls, work on the holograph projectors and
Pute 2,
cleaning up and don't forget sex. They sure didn't. Bought
a
boom, another day and still nothing from the governments.
They still
looked for the Chief and Swan when the logs
went on during the nights. And Jess and Kit would have
their
talks there at the door, and their hopes of seeing and
hearing
their guides. They would feel the sorrow, too, in the
world
amidst their great fortune and joy as they looked out
through
the panes for another vision. They wished they could
speed
things up, but couldn't; and do more, but didn't know
what,
though they talked about doing some helpful flying in
the
trouble spots. All the children in harm's way; all the
innocent
people starving or in virtual or real slavery; the malnutritioned,
neglected or abused kids, even in the US; all the horror
of the
wars, terrorism and brutal regimes; the agonizing humanicide.
They were feeling it.
Sundance had
told them a few hours before of the
Execs' new idea of proposing international law to make
all
wars and conflicts prosecutable as homicide, and suing
all the
governments and leaders for malfeasance of life
- a class
action suit on behalf of everyone. We the People,
dammit.
When the WPG goes public. It was in Kit's plan too, but
he
was glad they were coming up with it. It would be part
of
the entire suit they would be filing with the World Court
and
Supreme Courts of all the governments (with such a court).
They had also
discussed with him how the Oval was
trapped, like in the false government of the drug laws.
Trapped in policy. Treating WPG as terrorists. And they
had gone over the diplomatic pressure on the Ovalteers
from
many countries in favor of talking with the WPG, and
wondered if they could budge the White House any if the
Execs tell the Oval that they know about it and will
talk with
those other countries if there is still no response.
So they felt
some of the weight of the world that night
and other nights. At the door. And wished even more that
they would see the Spirits to maybe, just maybe, talk
about
it with them. But went back to bed that night just a
little
disappointed, again, that they hadn't.
