We enjoyed three shows.
Ron and I first saw 'Evening with La Cage at The Riviera back in 1991. Frank Marino was the Mistress of Ceremony then and still is. He was given the title of the longest running headliner on the strip in 2006. He received the key to the city of Las Vegas and had a street named for him. (see above). Unfortunately, his show was pulled in Feb 2009 due to low numbers caused mainly by the recession. The Follies Begiere at The Tropicana was also pulled after a 46 year run. What a shame!

We saw the new Cirque du Soleil show at the Bellagio Hotel.& Casino. It was a fantastic extraveganza but I couldn't help thinking it was one hell of a lot of money to see a fancy circus. However, Ron said that he really enjoyed it.
On the other hand, we went see the Ultimate Variety Show at the Planet Hollywood. We both thorougly enjoyed it. There wasn't one bad act in the whole show and the Master of Ceremony was outstanding. P.S. - Also the price was reasonable!
