| We visited the Tower of London at the end of the Thames River cruise. To our surprise it was not a Tower as we had always thought. It use to be a royal palace at one time and is actually like a good sized walled town within London. It is also where many a head was chopped off including 3 of Henry VIII wives. The sign above indicates the spot where the guillotine stood just beside the Chapel |
