| After returning from Florida, Ron and I realized that we no longer needed the Lumina Van, as our trips south were only going to be 3-4 weeks at a time from now on. So after a lot of looking and testing, we finally settled on the Ford 2000 Focus. It has sure proven to be the right choice. Note - We still have the 2ROQ Plates. |

| Ron spent most of this spring working in his garden. The deck behind the house looks a little like a 'fairyland'. But then it is - and we love it! |

| July 2000 Ron's sister, Heather, visited from Nanaimo BC. The 3 Marshall siblings had a great personal reunion. We then held a barbecue at our home for other friends and relatives. |

| In mid August, Ron and I drove to my daughter Laury's home and spent a wonderful three days with her and her husband and 3 of my grandchildren, including Cathy, who is expecting in September, and her husband Shawn, whom we had not met before. Laurie wanted to read my web site. Frankly, I was a bit nervous at first in case she got really upset with some of the things I had done. However, I sat with her as she read it, and she thought it was wonderful. She hugged and kissed me after, and told me she was so sorry I had to go through what I had to and how proud she was of her old man. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Well the time is near. Cathy went into labor on Sept 27th with my first Great Grandchild. But being a typical Tomlinson descendent, he stubbornly refused to 'come out'. He was finally outted by a C section 36 hours later at 8 lbs even. Key on the Angel below to see more of why I'm such a proud Great Granddad. |
